Los Abrigos is one of those places that still feels authentically Canarian — I mean, you’ve got working fishing boats bobbing in the harbor and locals gathering at waterfront bars in the evenings. The hotel sits right along Calle la Arena, which puts you within walking distance of some genuinely good seafood restaurants where the catch actually comes from boats you can see from your window. It’s about a 10-minute drive to the airport (super handy for late arrivals), but honestly, once you’re here, you might not want to venture far. The Room Experience

My room had floor-to-ceiling windows that basically turned the entire wall into a living postcard of the Atlantic. The furnishings are clean and contemporary without being cold — think comfortable rather than flashy. What I really appreciated was the attention to practical details: good blackout curtains (essential when you want to sleep in), decent water pressure, and air conditioning that actually works efficiently. The balcony became my favorite spot for morning coffee, watching the fishing boats head out at dawn while the village slowly woke up below.

The local restaurants are where you’ll want to spend your evenings anyway — places like Casa Tomás serve grilled fish that was swimming hours earlier, and the prices are refreshingly reasonable compared to the tourist zones.

  The apartment is in a perfect location, it has all the amenities you need for a stay, even for a long time. It is clean and everyrhing is beautifull. The view from the balcony is divine, the beach is easily accessible. there are great restaurants nearby and parking is always available. The perfect location for a perfect getaway. The owner is always available if you need him. I recommend it to everyone who wants to have a great vacation. We will definitely come back.

  Absolutely beautiful apartment. Clean, lots of facilities, nice seaview and cheap price! Host was very accommodating and allowed us to check out a bit later as our flight wasn't until 6pm. They were quick to reply to our messages and requests. The area is lovely too with a nice coffee shop around the corner and some shops close by. There is a taxi rank and bus stop nearby to explore other areas of the island. The view from the balcony is breathtaking!!

  The host met us outside the property 5 minutes after our arrival. The property was clean, airy and spacious. We spend lots of time on the balcony, people watching (gossiping) and enjoying stunning views of the sea/beach. The kitchen/bathroom had all necessary amenities. The property is 5 minutes walk from the restaurants and supermarkets. Great value for money.

  The location is fabulous. Close to all facilities in the small town, a short walk to a bakery, convenience stores, cafés, bars and many restaurants around the fishing port. The black sand and rocky beach is right outside. The terrace is sunny from 11am, the best location to set up your laptop and work remotely. Wifi good throughout.
