First Impressions

When I first walked into Blue Haven – Ocean View Penthouse with jacuzzi and Pool, I honestly wasn’t prepared for the views. You’re on the sixth floor of this building on Calle el Pino, and the moment you step inside, those floor-to-ceiling windows just hit you with this incredible panorama of the Atlantic. The cliffs of Acantilado de los Gigantes stretch out dramatically to your left, and I mean — the name literally translates to “Cliffs of the Giants,” so you know what you’re getting into. This four-star penthouse actually feels more upscale than some five-star places I’ve stayed at, which surprised me.

The Space Itself

The apartment is spacious without feeling overwhelming, and the layout just works. There’s a proper kitchen with everything you’d actually need — not just the bare minimum that some vacation rentals throw at you. The living area flows naturally toward those massive windows, and honestly, you’ll probably spend most of your time just staring out at the ocean. The bedroom is comfortable and well-appointed, though let’s be real, the star of the show is definitely that private terrace with the jacuzzi.

That Terrace Though

Look, I’ve stayed at plenty of places that promise great outdoor spaces, but this terrace is something else entirely. The jacuzzi sits perfectly positioned so you can soak while watching the sun set over the water — and those Tenerife sunsets are genuinely spectacular. There’s also access to a shared pool area, which is nice when you want to actually swim rather than just lounge in the hot tub. The whole setup feels private despite being in a residential building, probably because you’re high enough that you’re not really looking into anyone else’s space.

Location & Getting Around

Acantilado de los Gigantes isn’t exactly a bustling resort town, and that’s actually part of its charm. You’re in this quiet residential area that feels authentically Canarian, but you can walk to restaurants and cafes within about ten minutes. The marina is close enough for boat trips — which you should definitely do if you want to see whales or dolphins. There’s parking available, which matters more than you might think since this part of Tenerife can get busy during peak season, and finding a spot near the cliffs can be a real headache.

Why Guests Love It

The location rating speaks for itself — couples consistently rate it a perfect 10, and after spending time here, I get why. There’s something romantic about having your own private slice of this dramatic coastline, especially when you can slip into that jacuzzi after a day of exploring. The place feels like a retreat without being isolated, and the views never get old. You know what really sold me though? Waking up to that ocean vista every morning and realizing you’ve got your own little piece of paradise, at least for a few days.

  An exquisitely designed get-away. Luc and Lucinda have literally thought of everything . They’ve put their hearts into Blue Haven and it shows. Your breath will be taken as soon as you go through the door. And then there’s the balcony – uninterrupted majestic views out to sea. Luc and Lucinda are wonderful hosts. Blue Haven is a very special space to let the cares of the world drift away.

  The property is simply stunning, and arguably has the best views in Los Gigantes. The styling is immaculate and all appliances are to a very high standard. The Jacuzzi on the large veranda is a nice touch and was hugely relaxing, particularly when gazing at the beautiful sunsets over La Gomera. Luc was the perfect host, and provided a stocked fridge with the necessities, and some local wine as a special treat. He was a very informative and attentive host, and dealt with any queries we had immediately and without fuss. We would not hesitate to recommend.

  Vue magnifique à rester des heures à contempler l’horizon, les bateaux, les falaises et les vagues…
  L’appartement est tout simplement magnifique et très moderne (haut standing) par rapport à l’année de construction de l’immeuble. Les photos booking sont identiques à la réalité, l’accueil et les explications à l’arrivée sont exceptionnelles, des commodités non habituelles nous ont été offertes telles que dentifrice, gel douche, crème des mains, démaquillant, etc.
  Nous reviendrons certainement dans cet établissement.

  Sehr ruhige Lage mit dem atemberaubenden Ausblick auf den kleinen Hafen, das Meer und direkt auf die Bergkette 'los gigantes'!
  Das Appartement lässt keine Wünsche offen! Hochwertigste Designermöbel, stilvoll kombiniert mit dezenten Accessoires, nicht nur was für's Auge, sondern auch noch funktional, da muss man sich einfach wohlfühlen! Ein weiteres Highlight, die wunderbare Dachterrasse mit Außen – Jacuzzi, Sonnenliegen und dem einzigartigen Sonnenschirm, der bei jeder Brise sanft raschelt und das in Kombination mit dem Meeresrauschen, das ist schon Meditation pur 😉 Sehr vorteilhaft ist die Garage direkt am Haus, so entfällt die ansonsten stressige Parkplatzsuche!
  Es ist wirklich an alles gedacht, auch zwei Yogamatten und Hanteln stehen bereit! Ich könnte noch lange weiter schwärmen, aber einfach selbst die "good vibes" spüren!!!

  Die Lage des Blue Haven ist einmalig – es ist sozusagen das letzte Gebäude des Ortes und schmiegt sich schon fast an die Felsen Los Gigantes. Der Ausblick und dieses Gefühl, wenn man auf dem Balkon steht, ist nicht zu beschreiben und muss man selbst erlebt haben. Es war sehr wohltuend und entschleunigend. Man hörte nur das Meer und die Möwen, sonst nichts.
  Der Schnitt der Wohnung ist super, die Einrichtung und Dekoration stilvoll und liebevoll gewählt, der halbhoch verglaste Balkon und der Ausblick einfach ein Traum – das Herzstück sozusagen. Fabelhaft ist, dass das Wohnzimmer mit einer Glaswand von der Terrasse, bzw. dem Balkon getrennt ist, die man vollständig öffnen kann und so eine riesige luftige Fläche gewinnt.
  Besonders hervorzuheben sind die qualitativ extrem hochwertigen Möbel, die einzelnen Einrichtungsgegenstände bis hin zu Betten und den Handtüchern. Sehr genossen haben wir abends – nach fantastischen Sonnenuntergängen über La Gomera – auch die LED-Beleuchtung auf dem Balkon, die Soundanlage und den unfassbar coolen Whirlpool mit LED und Touch-Pad.
  Die dimmbare verdeckte Beleuchtung in den Räumen war sehr angenehm und auch, dass man die Räume einzeln beheizen konnte (im Dezember mit Kleinkind sehr hilfreich). Das WLAN hat tadellos funktioniert. Die Einrichtung an Elektrogeräten ist vollständig, von der Kapselmaschine bis zum Trockner ist alles da. Für den Start sind Kapseln und Geschirrtabs vorhanden.

  Luc und Stinj waren jederzeit für uns erreichbar, der Kontakt sehr angenehm und locker. Toll, dass man sich ernsthaft kümmerte und nach Zufriedenheit & Sauberkeit fragte.
  Wir vermissen das Blue Haven und kommen baldmöglichst wieder – das Feeling dort ist etwas ganz Besonderes. Ich hoffe sehr für Luc und Lucinda, dass sie immer Gäste haben werden, die das Blue Haven mit Respekt behandeln und so sorgsam damit umgehen, als wäre es ihr eigenes Heim. Alles Gute!

  Абсолютно все! 10 из 10! Каждая деталь продумана с заботой и удобством. После бронирования пришло письмо с ссылкой на портал, где Люк и Люсинда предоставили всю информацию не только об апартаментах, но и об острове. Подробные инструкции по технике — какой пульт для чего — это очень удобно! Апартаменты идеально чистые, всё качественное и со вкусом подобранное — от кресла Eames Lounge Chair до колонок Sonos. Отдельно хочется отметить необычный зонтик, который при легком ветерке издает звук, словно шумят деревья. А какие шикарные виды на скалы и океан! Мы в полном восторге!

  Ons verblijf was geweldig en smaakt absoluut naar meer! We werden hartelijk ontvangen door Luc en Lucinda, die ons met hun warmte en gastvrijheid meteen thuis lieten voelen. Hun persoonlijke touch en oog voor detail gaven ons verblijf echt iets extra's. Het appartement is een oase van rust en luxe, met een indrukwekkend uitzicht op de oceaan, de rotsen van Los Gigantes, en La Gomera in de verte. Het ruime terras met jacuzzi was een droom, perfect om de zonsondergang te bewonderen en volledig te ontspannen. Binnen is alles tot in de puntjes verzorgd en stijlvol ingericht, met alle voorzieningen van topkwaliteit. Blue Haven biedt precies de juiste balans tussen comfort, gezelligheid en luxe. We kunnen niet wachten om terug te keren voor een langer verblijf. Blue Haven is een echte aanrader voor iedereen die zoekt naar een unieke en ontspannende vakantie in Los Gigantes!

  Ons verblijf van één nacht bij Blue Haven was magisch en heeft diepe indruk gemaakt! Het appartement is een droomplek, met een panoramisch uitzicht op de azuurblauwe oceaan, de indrukwekkende rotsformaties van Los Gigantes, en de prachtige contouren van La Gomera in de verte – vooral bij zonsondergang een adembenemend gezicht.
  
  Het ruime terras met jacuzzi gaf ons de kans om helemaal tot rust te komen. De hele locatie ademt een en al ontspanning en stilte uit, ideaal om even te ontsnappen aan de dagelijkse drukte. Het appartement zelf is luxueus ingericht met een gezellige en warme sfeer; alle voorzieningen zijn van topkwaliteit en tot in de puntjes verzorgd.
  
  We voelden ons volledig thuis, en we kunnen niet wachten om terug te keren voor een langer verblijf. Blue Haven is een aanrader voor iedereen die rust en comfort zoekt met een spectaculair uitzicht!
