You know what’s great about this area? You can walk down to the black sand beaches (they’re volcanic, obviously), and there are these little local bars where the fishermen actually hang out. It’s the real Puerto de Santiago, not some sanitized version.

The Space Itself

The apartment feels more like staying at a friend’s place than a typical hotel — and I mean that in the best way possible. The kitchen is actually functional, not one of those tiny hotel kitchenettes where you can barely make coffee. I ended up cooking breakfast most mornings because, honestly, watching the sunrise over La Gomera while drinking coffee on that terrace became my daily ritual. The room setup is smart too — everything flows naturally, and you’re never more than a few steps from those incredible views.

What Makes It Special

Here’s the thing that really got me — the sunsets. I’ve seen a lot of sunsets, but watching the sun drop behind La Palma from this terrace is something else entirely. The whole sky turns these impossible shades of orange and pink, and the islands become these dark silhouettes against the light.   The apartment was clean and spacious, and the terrace was large with a beautiful view. Drinks and snacks were provided on arrival and the apartment has everything needed for a comfortable stay.   It was a wonderful holiday in a wonderful location overlooking the ocean. Cozy, well-kept apartments, made with taste and love. There is everything you need for a vacation. It’s so cozy and homely here that during the day we rode around the island, and spent the rest of the time in an apartment on a wonderful veranda above the rocks with natural pools and views of the ocean.
  The apartments are a 10-minute walk from the wonderful black sand beach of Playa de la Arena and a 20-30 minute walk from the beach and cliffs of Los Gigantes, where most of the route is along the promenade next to the ocean.
  Below the apartment there is a covered veranda of the restaurant. From time to time the smell of food can be heard from there, and sometimes the top of the veranda opens, but this did not bother us at all.
  I would also like to say thank you to the SUPER owner of the apartment, Manuel, for the warm welcome. Upon arrival, there was cold fruit and wine waiting for us in the refrigerator, which was very nice. Any everyday issues were resolved easily and in a matter of minutes. Manuel provided a place for the car in the underground parking, which is simply an incredible bonus in a town where you can circle around for a long time in search of a free space to park your car.
  In a few days we traveled all over the western, northwestern and southern coasts. I realized that for us this is the best place on the island both in terms of climate and the nature that surrounds you, there is no feeling of desert like in the south and there are no strong northern winds and frequent waves .

  Location was perfect. great restaurants a few steps away. The views from the veranda were breath taking.
  Apartment was spotless and the welcoming fruit and bottle of fizz was a very lovely touch.
  Manuel was the perfect host. Making sure we had everything we needed .

  Lägenheten var bra, då vi bodde i 4 veckor hade vi önskat lite mer av köksutrustningen, samt en ugn (men den visste vi inte fanns).
  Terassen var helt magisk – fanns bord/stolar samt 2 solsängar. Fick låna en elgrill av Manuel, där vi gjorde många middagar i solnedgången.
  Vi bodde mer eller mindre på terassen, med den magiska vyn mot Atlanten o La Gomera.
  Sovrummet var bra utrustat med stor klädförvaring och varsitt sängbord m bra läslampa och en mycket bred säng (något hård enligt oss – men det är ju från person till person)
  Tvättrummet – med tvättmaskin o klädlinor samt städutrustning var toppen.
  Badrummet var bra.
  Bra klädskåp i hallen för skor och kläder mm.
  Lägenhetens läge var bra. Mittemellan alla backar och mellan Playa Arena o Los Gigantes.
  Manuel är en fantastisk värd, omhändertagande och hjälpsam, allmänt trevlig.

  Przestronny apartament z przepięknym widokiem na ocean z salonu oraz kuchni. Właściciel Manuel bardzo pomocny i uprzejmy. Szkoda, że zatrzymaliśmy się tam tylko 2 dni. Dojazd samochodem może być kłopotliwy ze względu na brak miejsca parkingowego bezpośrednio przed budynkiem. Najlepiej zadzwonić do Manuela kilka minut przed na wyładunek bagażu a on wskaże gdzie zaparkować.
