You know what caught me off guard about Villa Casa Lilo? The moment I walked up to this place on Calle la Sabinita, I honestly wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star spot tucked away in this quiet corner of Arona. But man, sometimes the unassuming places are the ones that completely win you over. The entrance has this warm, lived-in feeling – not fancy, but genuinely welcoming in a way that makes you feel like you’re staying at a friend’s well-kept family home rather than some sterile hotel chain.

The location is actually pretty brilliant if you know the area. Most tourists get stuck in the chaos closer to the main strips, but this little stretch of Arona gives you that authentic Canarian vibe without all the noise. I mean, you’re still close enough to everything – the beaches, restaurants, all that – but you can actually sleep at night without hearing drunk tourists stumbling around at 3 AM. The staff here seem to genuinely care about the place, which honestly makes such a difference. They know the neighborhood inside and out, so when they recommend that little tapas place around the corner or tell you the best time to catch the bus to Los Cristianos, you can actually trust them.

What really impressed me was how they’ve managed to nail the details that matter. The rooms are clean – I’m talking properly clean, not just “made the bed and called it good” clean. The Wi-Fi actually works (revolutionary concept, I know), and the water pressure is decent, which anyone who’s traveled around Spain knows isn’t always a given. Sure, it’s not going to blow you away with marble bathrooms or infinity pools, but there’s something refreshing about a place that focuses on doing the basics really, really well. The whole property has this relaxed energy that just makes you want to slow down a bit. You can sit on the terrace in the evenings and actually hear yourself think, maybe catch some of that gorgeous Canarian sunset light filtering through. It’s the kind of place where you find yourself staying an extra day just because you’re not ready to leave yet – and honestly, with a 9.6 rating, I’m clearly not the only one who feels that way about Villa Casa Lilo.

  What is there not to like, the property is beautiful, the accommodation has everything you need, the host is lovely and always willing to help if anything is needed. I wish we could have stayed longer as it was so peaceful and tranquil. You have your own space to sit outside, which is amazing and again although you are sharing a property with the owner and another house it feels extremely private

  Vermieter sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, toller Garten, super Lage. Das Anwesen besteht aus drei Einheiten inklusive Vermieterhaus. Den Pool teilt man sich, ansonsten hat man private Gartenfläche. Die Atmosphäre ist total entspannt. Schnell ist man mit dem Auto o Bus im Touristenzentrum. La Camella ist ein kleiner schöner Ort, wenig Touristen, aber Supermarkt und Restaurant fußläufig zu erreichen.
  Die Unterkunft war sauber, es gab genug Handtücher, Decken, Wein zur Begrüßung etc.
  Wir würden wieder kommen:)
