You know what caught me off guard about Villa Alisios? The name makes it sound like some massive resort complex, but it’s actually this intimate luxury villa tucked away on Calle Neveda in Adeje – and honestly, that’s exactly what makes it special. I mean, you’re getting proper hotel-level service and amenities, but in what feels like your own private retreat. The heated pool alone is worth the stay (and trust me, you’ll want that heating even in summer if you’re doing early morning swims). The whole place has this sophisticated but relaxed vibe that’s hard to find in Tenerife’s busier tourist zones.

What really sold me on this place was the location – Adeje is sort of the sweet spot where you get the upscale feel without the chaos of Los Cristianos or Playa de las Américas. You’re close enough to the golf courses (hence the name, obviously) and about a fifteen-minute drive to some of the island’s best beaches, but far enough up the hill that you actually get those stunning ocean views and, more importantly, escape the crowds. The villa itself feels properly luxurious without being stuffy about it. The rooms are spacious with that modern Mediterranean style that photographs well but actually feels comfortable to live in for a few days. Check-in was smooth – no waiting around in lobbies with screaming kids, which honestly was a relief after the flight.

I’ll be real with you though – this isn’t the cheapest option on the island, and if you’re looking for that all-inclusive resort experience with entertainment teams and buffet dinners, you’ll want to look elsewhere. But if you want something that feels more like staying at a wealthy friend’s vacation home (complete with that friend’s excellent taste in décor and infinity pools), Villa Alisios delivers. The heated pool area becomes this perfect little sanctuary in the evenings, and the views over the coastline are genuinely spectacular – not just Instagram-worthy, but the kind that make you want to sit there with a drink and actually take it all in. Plus, having your own space means you can do grocery runs to the local Mercadona and have proper breakfasts instead of fighting for the last croissant at a hotel buffet. It’s that combination of luxury and independence that makes it feel like a real getaway rather than just another vacation rental.

  The villa has everything for a big family to stay comfortably. We chose it mainly for the size of the villa and a heated pool. The villa also provided all the consumables, such as washing machine liquid and dishwasher tablets, also coffee pods and tea bags. The location is also good, several supermarkets nearby. The BBQ facility is certainly a plus for family to stay.
  
  What could be improved: Communications from the host was very confusing, which was definitely a bad distraction you do not want before starting your holiday… I even do not want to get the details again! Minor things also include 1)outside lighting did not work so we used mobile phone light while BBQ. 2) rubbish bags are too small for the bin, which made it very untidy.

  Our stay was great. Villa is well equipped with everything you need. It has a great location that ensures privacy during the stay and heated pool is just AMAZING! Staff was very attentive and any doubts we had during the stay we could communicate through whatsapp. We will be strongly considering the stay again just because of this property.

  Fantastic location, with great facilities nearby (golf course, top training for sports & wellness lovers, fantastic beach and restaurants 3 mins drive away) and really super house. Would recommend hiring a small car to really maximise getting around and enjoying all Tenerife has to offer, but cabs were very easy too! Excellent holiday (and both our families of 4 unanimously agree!). Definitely going back on repeat for next year!
  
  What could be improved: The pool areas is great, but can be a bit slippy when wet (not anything to put you off, but be mindful of this. We put a towel down – worked a treat)
