Look, I’ll be straight with you about this place – the Tropical Apartment honestly surprised me in the best way. When I first pulled up to 14 Calle Jilguero in Palm-mar, I wasn’t expecting much from the exterior (these residential complexes all look pretty similar from the outside), but once you get inside, it’s actually got this really welcoming vibe that feels more like staying at a friend’s well-appointed apartment than some sterile hotel room.

The heated pool is legitimately the star here, and I mean that. You know how most hotel pools are either freezing or packed with screaming kids? Well, this one’s different – the temperature is perfect year-round, which is honestly a godsend because even in Tenerife, the evenings can get a bit chilly, especially if you’re coming in winter. I spent way more time floating around in there than I planned to, and the pool area itself is surprisingly quiet. The whole Residencial Primavera complex is tucked away from the main tourist strips, so you’re not dealing with the chaos of Los Cristianos or Playa de las Américas – it’s more like discovering this little pocket of calm that most people miss. The apartment itself is spacious (I’m talking actual room to spread out your stuff, not just a bed with a tiny walkway around it), and whoever designed it actually thought about how people live. There’s a proper kitchen if you want to grab groceries from the Mercadona down the road, decent WiFi that doesn’t cut out every five minutes, and the air conditioning works without sounding like a jet engine. Small things, but they matter when you’re trying to relax.

What really sold me on this place though is the location – Palm-mar sits right between the airport and the main resort areas, which sounds terrible but is actually genius. You’re close enough to walk to some decent restaurants and the marina (maybe 10-15 minutes if you don’t mind a little stroll), but far enough from the package holiday crowds that you can actually hear yourself think. The beach nearby isn’t the postcard-perfect white sand you see in the brochures, but it’s real and uncrowded, and honestly, sometimes that’s exactly what you need. Plus, if you do want to hit the bigger beaches or explore the island, you’re positioned perfectly for day trips without feeling like you’re stuck in the middle of nowhere. The whole experience just feels authentic somehow – like you’re getting a taste of how people actually live in Tenerife rather than being shuffled through the usual tourist machine.

  Beautiful apartment,spaceous,clean,bright, great for a family. Equipped with all the necessary things for a short vacation(fully equipped kitchen,washing machine,hairdryer,safe…) Balcony overlooking the big shared heated pool,with sunbeds.
  Secured parking in the garage,with storage.
  Very good location in this smaller town
  Supermarket, restaurants, just down the street.
  The lady who greated us was very nice and gave us all the information we needed about the apartment and condominium and ideas for trips and restaurants. Also left a little welcome in the fridge for us.

  Прекрасно встретили, отличная связь с арендодателем. Всю дорогу с нами были на связи, встретили. В апартаментах было все необходимое для жизни. Прекрасный бассейн с подогревом. Тихое место для отдыха. Есть подземное место парковки. Место в которое хочеться вернуться.👍
