You know what struck me first about Terraza del Mar? It’s that moment when you walk into the lobby and realize this isn’t just another cookie-cutter hotel trying too hard to impress. The place sits on Calle Baleares in Adeje, and honestly, the location is kind of perfect – you’re close enough to the action but far enough from the tourist chaos that hits places like Playa de las Américas.

The staff here actually remembers your name after day one, which sounds small but makes such a difference when you’re trying to feel human on vacation. I mean, the 9.9 rating isn’t just because they put mints on pillows – though the rooms are genuinely lovely, with these terraces that make you want to have your morning coffee outside even if you’re normally a rush-out-the-door-with-a-travel-mug person. The whole four-star thing feels accurate without being stuffy. You’ll find yourself chatting with other guests by the pool instead of everyone staring at their phones, and I think that says something about the vibe they’ve created here.

What really gets me is how they handle the little details that most places mess up. The Wi-Fi actually works (even by the pool, which is rare), parking isn’t a nightmare, and the soundproofing means you won’t hear every conversation from the hallway. The location puts you about ten minutes from some of the best beaches in the south, and if you’re into hiking – the trails up toward Teide are accessible without needing a whole expedition setup. Plus, there’s this local restaurant about two blocks down that serves the best papas arrugadas I’ve had outside of a Canarian grandmother’s kitchen, and the front desk will point you toward spots like that instead of just handing you a generic tourist map. Sometimes you find a place that just gets it right, you know? Terraza del Mar is one of those places where you’ll find yourself already planning your return visit before you’ve even checked out.

  The appartement is very nice and very important, absolutely clean and everything is available.
  The internet was perfect for working as digital nomad.
  
  What could be improved: the sun reaches the balcony at about 10-11, sometimes it was windy and therefore a bit cold in February, but it might be this happened only this year.
  
  I would expect a discout for such a long stay (4 weeks) because the cleaning cost occur only once compared to bookings per week. But I did not ask, so may be nothing to claim…

  Ida is the best hostess I have ever met. She did everything possible to make our stay in the apartment amazing!! The apartment is perfect, it has everything you need for your stay: magnificent terrace, comfortable bed, everything spotlessly clean and new.   This is the best accommodation we have experienced during our last three visits to Costa Adeje. The apartment is very modern, new, clean, and fully equipped. In addition to shower gel, shampoo, liquid soap at the sink, plenty of toilet paper, two sets of towels and bath towels, the landlord also provided dishwashing liquid and dishcloths, laundry detergent, a clothes dryer with pegs, and garbage bags. The kitchen is also very well equipped with various appliances, and the landlord did not forget even small items such as a corkscrew, strainer, and oven mitts. She was waiting for us in the apartment when we arrived, handed us the keys, showed us the entire apartment, and gave us a tour of the entire complex. She also left us some small and thoughtful gifts—coffee capsules, a bottle of water, wine, savory snacks to go with the wine, sweet snacks to go with the coffee, and even a selection of different teas.
  Ida is a truly wonderful example of a caring, communicative host who constantly makes sure that her guests are satisfied and encourages them to contact her if they have any special requests. Since Ida lives in the apartment next door, she is always available if needed, but we did not need to take advantage of this during our entire stay.
  We were extremely satisfied here, and if we visit Costa Adeje again, we will definitely choose to stay in Ida's apartment again.
  The only slightly unfavorable circumstance is the relatively high temperature in the apartment without air conditioning (which is common in apartments in Costa Adeje), so falling asleep may be difficult for some people. Ida has a large fan here, which at least helps to reduce the heat a little.
  With the window open, there is some noise from cars and motorcycles coming from the street, but of course it is quieter in the morning (except for the garbage collection services, which run quite often and in the early morning hours).

  Tutto perfetto! La casa è super accogliente , Ida , la proprietaria è davvero gentile e simpatica, ci ha sempre aiutato per qualsiasi info e soprattutto non ci ha fatto mancare niente in casa , molte deliziose amenities e persino una bottiglia di vino😍 , un vero trattamento all’ italiana. Lei è una persona fantastica.
  La casa è spaziosa e fornita di qualsiasi cosa necessaria per la cucina la doccia è molto spaziosa, così come la sala e il balcone esterno con una vista bellissima.
