You know what really hit me when I first walked into Terraza con vistas al Teide 2? The name actually undersells it – I mean, yes, you get those incredible Teide views, but honestly, the whole experience feels way more intimate and thoughtful than most places in Puerto de la Cruz. This isn’t some sprawling resort complex; it’s tucked right on Calle Haya, which is perfect because you’re literally two minutes from the main action but far enough that you won’t hear drunk tourists stumbling back at 2 AM.

The terrace situation is genuinely spectacular – and I say this as someone who’s stayed at probably a dozen places claiming “mountain views” in Tenerife. When you’re having your morning coffee and watching the sunrise paint Teide this incredible orange-pink color, you sort of forget you’re in a 4-star hotel and not some exclusive private villa. The rooms themselves have this clean, modern vibe without feeling sterile (you know how some places try so hard to be contemporary they end up cold?). What I really appreciated were the little touches – proper blackout curtains that actually work, a decent shower with water pressure that doesn’t make you want to cry, and thank god, air conditioning that doesn’t sound like a helicopter landing.

Here’s the thing about the location that most people don’t realize until they’re there: Calle Haya puts you in this sweet spot where you can walk to Playa Jardín in about eight minutes, but you’re also close to the older part of town where locals actually eat. There’s this tiny Canarian restaurant about three blocks away that serves the best papas arrugadas I’ve had on the island – the kind of place you’d never find if you were stuck in the tourist zone. The staff at Terraza genuinely knows the area too, which is refreshing. When I asked about hiking trails, the guy at reception didn’t just hand me a generic brochure; he actually drew me a little map showing a path that most tourists miss entirely. Check-in was smooth, parking is available (crucial in Puerto de la Cruz, trust me), and the whole place has this relaxed energy that makes you want to actually slow down instead of rushing around trying to see everything. The 9.3 rating makes total sense once you’re there – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place on the island, but everything just… works really well.

  Superb location close to the restaurants and bars but quiet after 10:30. Stunning restaurant within the building complex which also contained the offices of the helpful host. The apartment was recently refurbished, very clean with a pleasant outlook over the Mirador La Paz.
  
  What could be improved: Personally would have preferred the reservation of the car park to be included in the fee. That said not all folk hire a car to visit the island

  Beautiful view, lovely and clean apartment. Easy access to a filtered water (so we didn't need to buy it ourselves!). Very well equipped kitchen (especially such small things as salt, pepper and olive oil) – it's very convenient that we didn't have to buy these ourselves. Balcony was spacious and we loved to spend mornings there watching Teide and eating breakfast. Shower was also great as it had good pressure and water was hot. Small things but they sum up to very enjoyable experience!
  
  What could be improved: Lights and music coming from outside were a little annoying, but we quickly learned to ignore it.

  Lovely clean apartement with fab views of Mount Teide one way and the ocean the other way . Also nice touches like the water machine, washing up liquid, salt pepper and oils, washing machine upstairs and pegs and airers provided.
  The key fobs were excellent and worked brilliantly.
  Location wonderful near the Mirador square and lots of places to eat and shop.
  The walk down the 219 steps to get into Puerto centre was very scenic and we heard little noise from the cafe / restaurant below. The wraparound balcony was fab for breakfast al fresco.
  The flat was immaculately clean always.
  Comfy settee, chairs and bed and tons of towels. The TV was huge and had Netflix and Google on.
  Can't fault it – a great find, thank you .
  
  What could be improved: The hot tap in kitchen area was a bit slow.

  Perfect apartment in a calm location. Great communication with Luis! The apartment is nicely decorated, clean and well-equipped. Has a beautiful view of Teide and the ocean. What's important, we didn't have problems with parking. I highly recommend!

  L'appartement est très lumineux, confortable, avec double balcon donnant sur l'océan et le pico del Teide.
  La terrasse avec transats, salon de jardin, table et chaises, est également très agréable pour profiter du soleil et de la vue sur l'océan et admirer le coucher de soleil.
  Bonne literie. Pour ceux qui ont le sommeil léger, il faut savoir qu'il y a du bruit le soir dans la rue du fait de l'animation dans les bars et restaurants.
  Fontaine à eau filtrée dans le couloir, très appréciable.
  Petit cadeau de bienvenue (confitures). Sel, poivre, vinaigre, huile à disposition, ainsi que papier essuie-tout, papier alu, capsules de café, sachets de thé et sucre. Et dans la SdB: papier WC, distributeur de gel douche, gel main, 2 serviettes par personne.
  Nous ne nous sommes pas servis du four car il n'y a pas de plat pour mettre dans ce four.
  Fer et mini table à repasser.
  A disposition également: raquettes de plage, masque-tuba.
  Situation de la résidence, en haut des escaliers Agatha Christie qui permettent de se rendre au centre ville, à pied. Bars, restaurants, boutiques de souvenir, supermarché juste à côté.
  
  What could be improved: Vaisselle minimum : 2 poêles, 2 casseroles, 1 faitout, pas d'essoreuse à salade, un seul saladier (en plastique), pas de mugs, pas de bols, que des tasses à café.
  Pas de parking mais nous avons toujours réussi à trouver une place.

  Die Wohnung ist super sauber und wirklich sehr schick eingerichtet und in realtiv ruhiger Lage. Es war alles da, was man sich vorstellen kann und noch mehr, sogar Schnorchelausrüstung und andere Gimmicks. Die Küche war klein aber super ausgestattet. Es gibt auch eine kleine Kaffeemaschine mit Kapseln. Wirklich exquisit. Und die Lage war ziemlich cool, Restaurants und Supermarkt sowie viele kleine Mitbringselshops in der Nähe.Man konnte schnell in die Stadt laufen. Gut, es gibt nicht wirklich einen anständigen Strand in der Nähe, aber eine halbe Stunde Fußweg (6min mit dem Auto) entfernt ist der Playa de Jardin mit schwarzem Sand. Das Restaurant unter der Wohnung war auch überdurchschnittlich gut. Auch noch toll fand ich den Wasserspender im Treppenhaus,, mit dem man sich immer frisches kaltes Wasser holen konnte. Es gab zwei riesige Fernseher in der Wohnung, alles voll mit Netflix und Disney und dem ganzen Kram. Picobello, 10 von 10 für den Aufenthalt. Ach ja, die Dachterrasse mit 2 Duschen und einigen Sonnenliegen ist auch genial…inklusive Sonnenuntergangsaussicht. Love it.
  
  What could be improved: Blöd fand ich eigentlich nur die Parkplatzsituation. Das war wirklich schwierig mal was zu finden. Meistens haben wir uns illegal irgendwo hingestellt. Da würde ich mir wirklich mehr Support wünschen für Neuankömmlinge. Die Wohnung ist viel zu nice um keinen Parkplatz zu haben.
