The property sits quietly on Calle Alcalde Juan García Dorta, and honestly, the address doesn’t do justice to how perfectly positioned this place actually is. What struck me right away was how the staff seemed to genuinely know their guests, not in that forced hospitality way, but like they actually cared about making your stay work.

Location & Neighborhood

Puerto de Santiago isn’t the flashiest resort town on Tenerife, but that’s exactly why it works so well. You’re close enough to Los Gigantes cliffs that you can walk there in about fifteen minutes — and trust me, you’ll want to make that walk at sunset. The beach at Playa de la Arena is practically on your doorstep, with that distinctive black volcanic sand that feels surprisingly soft once you get used to it. I mean, you’ve got restaurants and cafes within easy walking distance, but it never feels crowded or touristy in that overwhelming way some Canary Island spots can get.

The Room Experience

The rooms at Tenerife Dream 004 have this clean, modern aesthetic that somehow still feels warm — probably because of the way they’ve used local materials and that gorgeous natural light. You know what really impressed me? The attention to practical details that matter when you’re actually living somewhere for a few days. Plenty of outlets where you need them, good water pressure, and air conditioning that doesn’t sound like a jet engine. The balconies (most rooms have them) look out over either the ocean or the surrounding hills, and there’s something really peaceful about having your morning coffee out there.

Practical Perks

Here’s where this place really shines — they’ve got free private parking right on site, which is honestly a game-changer if you’re planning to explore the island. I can’t tell you how many hotels charge ridiculous amounts for parking or make you hunt for street spots. The location consistently gets high marks from guests, and after staying there, I totally get why. You’re positioned perfectly for day trips to Teide National Park or the northern coast, but you can also just stay put and enjoy the immediate area without feeling like you’re missing out.

The 9.5 rating isn’t just numbers — it reflects how this hotel manages to hit that sweet spot between being well-located and genuinely comfortable. Couples especially seem to connect with the place, probably because it has that relaxed, romantic vibe without trying too hard. You’re not dealing with huge crowds or resort-style entertainment, but you’re also not stuck in the middle of nowhere. It’s the kind of place where you can have a proper Tenerife experience — exploring during the day, enjoying good local food in the evening, and actually relaxing in between.

  The apartment is great, it is very clean, there are no insects, and the water pressure is good. Everything else is exactly as described and as in the pictures. The apartment is quite quiet, we slept without problem and there was nothing very noisy or disturbing. They also let us check in early and booked us a taxi to the airport when we were leaving because our flight was very early in the morning. Lumi was also always available for questions and communication.
  The pool is great, too, very few people, and free sunbeds and umbrellas. There was also a small beach umbrella in the apartment, but we bought a bigger one and left it there, so you really don't have to rent at the beach.
  Reaching the La Arena beach from the apartment is not a problem, but going back to the apartment on foot can be difficult because it is uphill and quite steep. But there are taxis that can get you up for 4 euros.
  A sunbed is 4 euros and an umbrella is also 4 euros at the beach, so if you take the umbrella from the apartment you can use the 4 euros for a taxi :).

  We had a great experience staying at this apartment. The balcony was quite spacious and offered a beautiful view, which we really enjoyed. The apartment was well-equipped with two bathrooms, making it very convenient. The kitchen had all the necessary amenities, which was a big plus. We also appreciated the large size of the garage. The pool on the premises was amazing and added to the overall enjoyment of our stay. Definitely a wonderful place to stay!

  The apartment was super, really clean and spacious. We had an allocated car space which was great and the apartment had air conditioning. The pool was brilliant and never too busy. The host was wonderful, she arranged to meet us earlier than the allocated time and gave us loads of information about the area. She left a lovely bottle of wine and food/coffee for breakfast. She provided directions to local amenities such as the supermarket and any time we contacted her she always responded. I loved the coffee machine too! My family and I (5 of us) loved our holiday here.

  Uchvátila nás prostorná terasa s výhledem na moře a západy slunce. Skvěle vybavený apartmán. Ocenili jsme pračku a žehličku. Vychutnali si fresh džus díky přítomnému odšťavňovači. Velmi příjemná byla nachlazená láhev sektu na přivítanou. Uvítali jsme i základní suroviny v kuchyni jako cukr, sůl, olej, koření.
  Objevili jsme i slunečník, který bylo možný vzít s sebou na pláž . Celkově velmi prostorný, čistý a výborně zařízený apartmán a perfektní komunikace. Byli jsme nadšení i s lokalitou a dostupností nákupů. Jen počítejte s tím, že apartmán je v kopci. Ale jinak byste si ten úchvatný výhled neužili.
