Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to the Tagoro Sunset View, I wasn’t expecting much from the street view. Calle Tagoro isn’t exactly Tenerife’s most glamorous address, but man, was I wrong about this place. The moment you step inside, you realize they’ve really thought about what travelers actually want, not just what looks good in photos.

The heated pool situation is genuinely impressive – and I mean that matters here because even in the Canaries, the water can be chilly if you’re used to tropical temperatures. What really got me though was how they’ve positioned everything to catch those sunsets. You know how most hotels claim sunset views but you end up craning your neck around a building? Not here. The pool area faces west perfectly, and honestly, I found myself timing my evenings around just sitting there with a drink watching the sky change colors. The staff seemed to get this too – they’re not hovering, but they know exactly when to refresh your towel or offer another round.

The rooms are what I’d call thoughtfully designed rather than fancy for the sake of it. Everything works properly (you’d be surprised how rare that is), the air conditioning actually keeps up with Tenerife heat, and the beds are comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up planning my chiropractor visit. What I really appreciated was the attention to sound – the place is surprisingly quiet given that you’re still in a residential area with the usual Spanish neighborhood life happening around you. They’ve got good windows, I guess, because I barely heard the morning traffic or the neighbor’s dog that apparently has opinions about everything.

The location grows on you once you figure out the area. Sure, you’re not in the main tourist strip, but that’s actually refreshing. There’s a little supermarket about two blocks down that locals use – much better prices than the tourist shops, and they’ve got proper Spanish ham if you want to do breakfast on your balcony. The beach access isn’t immediately obvious, but once someone shows you the path (ask at reception), it’s maybe a seven-minute walk to a stretch of coast that’s way less crowded than the main beaches.

Check-in was smooth – they actually seemed to care about explaining things rather than just handing over keys and pointing toward the elevator. The woman at the desk marked up a little map with restaurant recommendations that weren’t just the usual tourist traps. One place she suggested turned out to be this tiny family-run spot where I had some of the best fish I’ve ever eaten, and it was half the price of the beachfront places.

The 9.8 rating makes sense once you’ve been there a few days. It’s not trying to be a luxury resort, but everything they do, they do well. The heated pool stays warm even when the evening breeze picks up, the housekeeping is thorough without being intrusive, and the whole vibe is relaxed in a way that makes you actually want to stick around the hotel rather than just use it as a place to crash between activities.

  La verdad que es una casa espectacular, tal cual se ve en las imagenes. El anfitrión muy cercano y disponible para cualquier cosa, y la chica que lleva la limpieza, que la conocimos al hacer el check out un amor también y super cercana. La casa está super limpia, las camas cómodas, nos dieron toallas de piscinas además de las de baño, y todo lo necesario para la cocina está, no te tienes que preocupar de cogerlo. Además, tuvieron el detallazo de dejar una botella de vino con dos copas en la mesa. La piscina muy chula, el agua a una temperatura ideal, y el patio precioso también. De noche también se encienden las luces de la piscina y del patio y es espectacular, igual que las vistas que tiene la casa. Ubicación buena, barrio tranquilo y se encuentra fácil. La recomiendo al 100%, cuando vuelva a Tenerife algún día no dudaría en volver a cogerla.

  Locatia a fost extraordinara! Piscina, terasa , oceanul, muntele, apusul totul a fost…oau!!! Doua dormitoare , living open space, totul modern si curat. Terasa, gratar pe gaz, piscina, sezlonguri si o vedere superba la ocean. Condimente, cafea vesela pentru a face mancare, nu lipseste nimic. Parcarea masinii se face in curtea proprietatii. Pe masa ne-a intampinat o sticla cu vin rosu din partea gazdei . Totul e la superlativ.

  un petit cocon très confortable au milieu de la campagne avec une belle vue sur la mer et le coucher de soleil avec El Teide au loin. Villa très bien équipée (cuisine, lessive …), très propre et un sympathique cadeau de bienvenue. Enceinte sécurisée par un portail automatique et une alarme.
  La piscine est très agréable pour se rafraichir, même en novembre !
  Super et nous recommandons d'avoir une voiture car les commerces, restaurants doivent être rejoint en voiture.

  Es una casa preciosa,identica a las fotos, moderna,con todas las comodidad para una estancia de lujo. Rl anfitrion muy atento y servicial en todo momento. Detalles a la llegada y en la casa cuenta con mucho mas de lo imprescindible para una estancia de lujo.Hay que destacar que a pesar de no aparecer en google maps la casa existe ya que a nosotros nos asaltaron las dudas al no verla en en la ubicación definida y nos causó cierta desconfianza que el anfitrión en todo momento intentó aclararnos.Parecia imposible una casa tan bonita a ese precio y nos hizo desconfiar pero resultó ser una maravilla.
