You know what really struck me about Tabaiba Sunset sea Views? The name isn’t just marketing fluff – you actually get those incredible sunset views they’re promising. I mean, when you’re staying on Calle Verodes, you’re positioned just right to catch the sun dropping into the Atlantic, and honestly, it never gets old. The hotel sits in this residential area that feels authentically Tenerife, not touristy at all, which I actually preferred to being stuck in some resort bubble.

The building itself has that clean, modern Spanish coastal vibe – nothing too fancy, but everything works the way it should. Check-in was smooth (they speak decent English if your Spanish is rusty like mine), and the staff actually seemed to care about helping rather than just going through the motions. The rooms are what you’d expect from a solid 4-star place, but here’s the thing – it’s those little touches that matter. The balconies are properly sized, not those tiny afterthoughts you sometimes get, and the sea views from most rooms are genuinely spectacular. I stayed there in late September when the tourist crowds were thinning out, and mornings were perfectly quiet except for the sound of waves and the occasional local heading to work.

Location-wise, you’re about a 15-minute walk to the main Santa Cruz action, which is perfect – close enough to explore but far enough to actually sleep at night. There’s a small supermarket just down the street (Super Dino, I think it was called), and you’ll find a couple of local bars where the prices are reasonable and the locals don’t mind tourists. Parking can be a bit tricky during peak season – the street spaces fill up fast – but the hotel staff pointed me toward a public lot that was maybe a 3-minute walk away. The whole Tabaiba area feels like real Tenerife, you know? Kids playing in the streets in the evening, families out for walks, that sort of authentic neighborhood feeling you don’t always get in hotel districts. I’d definitely go back – the 8.6 rating feels about right, maybe even a bit conservative if you’re the type who values genuine local atmosphere over flashy amenities.

  The location is ideal, and the view is amazing. The guy in charge was very kind and helpful. It is close to a beach (Radazul) and a natural swimming pool (piscina natural de Tabaiba)
