You know what struck me first about Sweethomeadeje? The name actually makes sense once you’re there – it really does feel like someone’s well-appointed home rather than a typical tourist apartment. I mean, sure, it’s tucked away on the TF-481 (that’s the main road that snakes through Adeje if you’re not familiar), but the third-floor spot in the K2 block gives you this nice elevated feeling without being too high up.
The thing about this place is that it sits in this sweet spot where you’re genuinely in Adeje – not some tourist bubble version of it. You’ll hear the morning sounds of the neighborhood waking up, maybe some construction if you’re unlucky, but honestly, it dies down pretty quickly. The apartment itself has that lived-in quality that I actually prefer over sterile hotel rooms. The kitchen is properly stocked, not just for show, and the bathroom has decent water pressure (trust me, you’ll appreciate this after a day hiking in the hills above town). What really won me over was the attention to small details – good WiFi that actually works, blackout curtains that keep the morning sun out when you want to sleep in, and enough electrical outlets where you actually need them.
Here’s what the booking sites won’t tell you: parking around here can be a bit of a dance, especially during peak season, but there’s usually something within a block or two if you’re patient. The location is actually brilliant once you get your bearings – you’re close enough to walk to some proper local spots for dinner (skip the tourist traps down by the coast), but far enough from the madness that you can actually relax. The 8.6 rating feels about right to me, honestly. It’s not luxury resort perfect, but it’s got character and everything works like it should. The host clearly cares about the place, which shows in little ways – fresh linens that smell good, a welcome bottle of water in the fridge, that sort of thing. I’d definitely stay here again, particularly if I was planning to explore more of the inland areas or needed a proper base for a longer stay rather than just a place to crash between beach days.

Great apartment and location. Very close to shops and restaurants etc. Very comfortable apartment, with all facilities as described and in good working order. Nice to have an easy to use coffee machine.
One major point which potential guests should know is that, as this is a private apartment development, the pool is much quieter than you will find at any hotel. No need to be racing against others to get a sunbed!
