Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Sweet Caroline Palm-Mar on Calle Ruiseñor, I wasn’t expecting much. The street’s pretty quiet, tucked away from the main tourist drag, and the building itself has this understated charm that doesn’t scream “four-star hotel.” But you know what? That’s exactly what makes this place special.

The staff here actually remember your name after day two, which is rare these days. Check-in was smooth – none of that awkward hovering while they fumble with the system. And the rooms, well, they’re what I’d call thoughtfully designed rather than flashy. The beds are properly comfortable (I’m talking good sleep, not just Instagram-worthy pillows), and there’s this little balcony situation that’s perfect for morning coffee. You can hear the ocean if you listen carefully, though it’s more of a whisper than a roar since you’re set back from the coast. The air conditioning actually works – and quietly, thank god – which matters more than you’d think in southern Tenerife.

What really got me was how they handle the details. The bathroom has decent water pressure and stays hot, the WiFi doesn’t cut out every five minutes, and there’s enough power outlets that you don’t have to choose between charging your phone and using the hair dryer. Small stuff, but it adds up. The pool area is where people tend to gather in the afternoons – it’s got this relaxed vibe where you can actually read a book without feeling like you’re at a pool party. Palm-Mar itself is sort of this hidden gem that most tourists miss; it’s got a proper local feel with a few good restaurants within walking distance, and if you want the busier scene, Los Cristianos is just a quick drive down the coast. Parking’s not a nightmare either, which honestly surprised me given how cramped some of these coastal towns can get. The whole setup just works – it’s one of those places where everything feels intentional rather than thrown together, and after a week there, I found myself genuinely sad to leave. That perfect 10 rating isn’t just numbers on a screen; it’s the kind of place that makes you start planning your return visit before you’ve even checked out.

  Wonderful apartment! If you are looking for comfort and coziness, I recommend these apartments. The windows of the apartments overlook the courtyard, a wonderful view of the entire complex. They have everything you need. A well-equipped kitchen, a huge refrigerator. Each room has air conditioning, a large TV, a very comfortable bed and sofa, a cozy balcony.
  
  What could be improved: The pool in the complex is not working, but you could use the pool in the neighboring complex, which was extremely inconvenient. You definitely need a car! There is no beach in Palm Mar and only two small shops! Despite this, we visited different places on the island every day, and in the evening returned to relax in comfortable apartments.

  Tiene todo lo que puedes necesitar en una casa, no le falta ningún detalle. Todo muy limpio y cuidado. Puedes ir andando a la playa y tienes todos los servicios necesarios para el día a día muy cerca.
