Look, I’ve stayed at a lot of places in the Canary Islands, and Sunnyland 1º Adelfas in San Andrés honestly surprised me. You know how sometimes you book a place and just hope it’s decent? This one actually exceeded expectations. The location on Plaza Adelfas is perfect – I mean, you’re right in the heart of San Andrés but not dealing with the tourist chaos you get closer to the port. There’s this authentic neighborhood feel where you’ll hear locals chatting in the plaza in the evenings, and the smell of fresh bread from the nearby bakery hits you every morning around 8 AM.

What really got me was how the staff just… knew things. Like, they didn’t just hand me a generic tourist map – they marked the spots where locals actually eat (there’s this incredible tapas place two streets over that I never would’ve found), told me which days the market’s worth visiting, and even mentioned that the parking situation gets tricky after 10 AM on weekends. The rooms are solid – nothing fancy, but everything works properly, the AC actually cools the place down, and the beds are comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up feeling like I’d been wrestling with the mattress all night. I appreciated that they kept things simple but functional, you know? The bathroom had decent water pressure, which honestly can be hit or miss in this area.

The 9.1 rating makes sense once you’re there for a few days. It’s not trying to be some luxury resort – it’s just a well-run hotel that gets the basics right and then adds those little touches that show someone actually cares. The front desk folks speak decent English if your Spanish is rusty, and they’re around when you need them but not hovering. San Andrés itself is underrated compared to some of the bigger tourist spots on the island. You’ve got easy access to hiking trails (the weather’s usually perfect for it in the mornings), some really good local restaurants within walking distance, and you’re still close enough to the more touristy areas if you want to venture out. I’d definitely stay here again – it’s one of those places that just works without any drama or unpleasant surprises.

  Spotlessly clean, modern apartment. Restaurant below and shops close by. This apartment is a real gem, quiet at night and close to one of the best beaches in Tenerife, Playa de las terasitas

  Right in the middle of Canarian life with a Café below. Fun to watch. Apartment is well equipped with everything you need (even a dishwasher) and a great balcony. Close to the beach. Small supermarket next to it.
  Quiet a nights when neighbors went to bed.

  Everything was great. The apartment is quite large, the beds are comfortable, the large terrace where we had dinner every day was a big plus. The beach and many restaurants are nearby. During the day the square where the apartment is located can be busy, but in the evening and at night it was very quiet.

  Great location close to the beach, choices of restaurants and convenience stores. Easy to get to other locations on the island. high quality modern facilities within the apartment. Noella was helpful in providing clear instructions for check-in.

  The flat got everything you need for a comfortable stay! We stayed for almost 2 weeks and were very happy.
  The balcony was my absolute favourite part! We were enjoying warm Tenerife nights with a glass of wine while the kids were sleeping in their room. The location is perfect too: it’s right in the centre of a little village with a nice local bar/café straight underneath the property. The smart TVs in every room were also a good think to have as we all could watch something we like.
  
  What could be improved: Not like I didn’t like it, but as a suggestion, it might have been easier if a property would have had a small and simple vacuum cleaner that can be used. I was moping the floor multiple times a day in hope to get rid of the sand but the hoover would have been so much better and easier. Otherwise, all was great!

  Toller Balkon. Sehr saubere Wohnung. Gut durchdachte Einrichtung. Wir hatten Kaffee für die ersten 4 Tassen Kaffee. Wir waren mitten im kanarischen Leben. Unbedingt die Bar Paez besuchen. Viele Tipps von der AP, die sich um die Wohnungen kümmert. Wer Probleme mit den Gelenken hat, sollte sich überlegen diese Wohnung zu mieten. DIe Stufen hinauf in den ersten Stock sind deutlich höher als in Deutschland, was es schmerzhaft machen könnte. Kleiner Supermarkt direkt "vor der Haustür".
  Im März war es in der Wohnung noch deutlich unangenehm kühl. Da es keine Möglichkeiten zum Heizen gibt, eine lange Hose zum Lommeln mitbringen 🙂
  Wir hatten als Mietwagen nur einen kleinen Fiat Punto. Das war gut so, weil die Parkplatzssituation schon sehr herausfordernd ist, wenn man nicht auf dem öffentlichen Parkplatz am Strand parken und 7 Min zur Wohnung laufen will.
  Undbedingt das Eis der Eisdiele Bambolo probieren. Seehr lecker!
  Die Kommunikation mit der AP, die die Wohnung betreut hat sehr gut und schnell funktioniert!
  
  What could be improved: Wenn die Mieter im oberen Stock die Türen geschlossen haben oder geduscht haben, war es mehr als deutlich in unserem Schlafzimmer zu hören. Geräuschempfindlich darf man nicht sein. Uns hat es nur ein wenig gestört, es gehört halt dazu, genauso wie die Menschen auf dem Spielplatz, die sich lautstark unterhalten. Wir waren halt mitten im Alltags-Leben. Die Bausubstanz ist eine andere als in Deutschland.
  Tipp: Eine Anleitung für TV im Wohn-/Essraum sowie für die Spül- und Waschmachine wären hilfreich 🙂

  Schöne, modern eingerichtete Wohnung. Direkt im Dorf, an einem belebten Platz gelegen. Man ist auf der schönen Logia mitten im kanarischen Leben. Uns hats gefallen.
  Gute Ausstattung mit Waschmaschine, Spühlmaschine usw.
  
  What could be improved: In der Küche ist die Ausstattung mit Geschirr etwas knapp.
