You know what struck me first about Sunny Escape – Green Park? It’s tucked away in this quiet corner of Golf del Sur where you actually feel like you’re staying somewhere locals might live, not just another tourist complex. The address says Corbetta, which honestly I’d never heard of before visiting, but it’s basically this peaceful residential area that’s maybe a 10-minute walk from the main Golf del Sur strip – close enough to everything but far enough that you’re not hearing drunk British tourists at 2 AM.

The apartments themselves are proper four-star quality, and I mean that in the best way. Not trying to be flashy or Instagram-perfect, just really well-maintained and thoughtfully laid out. The Green Park complex has this lovely courtyard feel with actual mature trees (hence the name, I guess), and the pool area gets sun most of the day but has enough shade that you can actually relax there in the afternoon heat. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays – the layout sort of naturally dampens sound, so even when families with kids were around, it never felt chaotic. The parking situation is actually decent too, which if you’ve ever tried to park in some of these Tenerife developments, you’ll know is not a given.

Here’s the thing about Golf del Sur that makes this place work so well – it’s not Playa de las Américas or Los Cristianos with all that intensity. It’s more… grown-up, I suppose. You’ve got the golf course right there (obviously), some really solid restaurants that aren’t just doing paella for tourists, and the black sand beach is maybe a 15-minute walk. The whole area feels like it was planned by people who actually wanted to live there, not just extract money from visitors. From the apartment, you can walk to that little commercial center with the Spar and the pharmacy, which honestly becomes your lifeline when you’re staying somewhere for more than a couple days. The buses run regularly to the airport and the bigger towns, but you might want to rent a car if you’re planning to explore the island properly – the location is great for that, actually, since you’re not fighting your way out of the tourist zones every morning.

What really sold me on the place was this: after three days, I started recognizing the guy who ran the small café around the corner, and he started remembering my coffee order. That’s the kind of neighborhood this is. The 9.3 rating makes complete sense when you consider that it delivers exactly what it promises without any nasty surprises – reliable wifi, properly functioning air conditioning, a kitchen that actually has everything you need, and management that responds when you need something. It’s not going to change your life or become your favorite travel story, but sometimes that’s exactly what you want. A place that just… works, you know?

  Everything was just like in the photos—no surprises. Check-in was quick and easy: clear instructions, fast responses, and friendly communication. There’s parking; plenty of cars, but we always found a spot. And a nice bonus—a bottle of wine and some snacks. Highly recommend!

  The apartment was very clean on arrival – it had a pool on site which was great as-well as a few bars. It was very good value for money.
  
  What could be improved: We felt the golf del sur area didn’t have a huge variety in it, it would be good if you’re looking for a quiet get away however next time I think we would stay somewhere more lively. There isn’t really a beach in golf del sur that you can get onto the sand.

  Apartmant have full equipmentthe apartment contains everything you need, even more! we were surprised by two deckchairs and a ball that served us well for entertainment. we didn't even see the owner, but everything was organized as it should be. my sincere recommendation.I thought you would hear a lot of planes, since it is near the airport, but don't worry about that. flights to Tenerife are from 8 am to 9 pm, so you will have peaceful nights, and during the day you will certainly be on the beach

  Apartament bardzo czysty, położony na strzeżonym osiedlu, w malowniczej okolicy otoczonej polami golfowymi. Do naszej dyspozycji były dwa baseny oraz leżaki, a świetnie urządzony balkon zachęcał do relaksu, zwłaszcza wieczorami. Apartament bardzo dobrze wyposażony. Kontakt z właścicielem błyskawiczny i bezproblemowy. Jeśli szukacie idealnej bazy wypadowej do zwiedzania wyspy, a jednocześnie chcecie być blisko południowego lotniska, to miejsce jest strzałem w dziesiątkę!
