You know what caught me off guard about this place? The name “SUN APARTMENT” made me expect some basic holiday rental, but honestly, this is more like having your own private slice of Los Cristianos – and I mean that in the best possible way. The moment you pull up to Avenida Juan Carlos I (which, by the way, is perfectly positioned without being right in the chaos of the main tourist strip), you realize someone actually thought about what travelers really need.

The private parking alone is worth its weight in gold here – I can’t tell you how many times I’ve circled Los Cristianos looking for a spot during peak season. But beyond that practical win, the apartment itself just works. Three proper bedrooms mean you’re not playing musical beds with your travel companions, and the AC actually keeps up with those intense Canarian afternoons when the sun bounces off everything. The fiber internet surprised me too – fast enough that I could actually work when I needed to, though honestly, with the pool right there and Los Cristianos beach just a short walk away, work felt pretty optional. The TV channels cover enough international options that you won’t feel completely cut off, though you’ll probably be too busy to watch much.

What really sealed it for me was the location’s sweet spot factor. You’re close enough to walk to the harbor area where all the whale watching boats leave from, but far enough from the main Avenida de Suecia that you won’t hear British tourists singing football chants at 2 AM (trust me, this matters). The ground floor setup means no hauling luggage up narrow Spanish staircases, and the whole building feels more residential than touristy – you’ll see actual locals doing their shopping, not just other visitors. I actually found myself gravitating toward the little supermarket on the corner more than the big tourist-focused shops closer to the beach. The pool area became my afternoon refuge when the beach got too crowded, which happens more often than you’d think, especially during German and British school holidays. That 9.5 rating isn’t just numbers – it reflects the fact that someone’s paying attention to details that actually matter to people who travel more than once a year.

  This is a rare occasion when even pretentious people have no reason to complain.
  Easy access. Very friendly host.
  The apartment is very complete, equipped with everything you need.
  Ideal cleaning. No unpleasant odors. Excellent security: the windows are protected with bars and equipped with motorized blinds.
  There is air conditioning, although we don't use it, we think it would be useful in the summer.
  Comfortable beds and pillows.
  Television with thousands of channels from all European countries.
  There is a games console, which although we don't use, I imagine it must be very useful for those who like it.
  Excellently equipped kitchen. Coffee machine with grinder: morning coffee was ideal.
  Location, I don't know if it could be better: from the apartment door to the supermarket entrance it is about 50m.
  Excellent hiking trails for all tastes.
  Cafes and restaurants within walking distance.
  The parking space in the garrage is very useful.
  I highly recommend it, and will book again, when I return to Tenerife.

  Very comfortable and was well equipped. Loved the location easy to walk into Los Cristianos. Very secure with a supermarket next to the apartment.
  
  What could be improved: The boiler, we didn’t get much hot water. It only lasted a short while and with 2 women who wanted to wash their hair regularly it was usually in cool water. The boiler did breakdown one afternoon no hot water at all. We contacted Matt who dealt with it quickly. We were there for 3 weeks and there wasn’t any spare bedding. We would have been happy to wash them as we did the towels every week.

  Amazing location, easy to find. And you get a key which takes you through the back gate to the entrance of the supermarket. It was no more than a 20 second walk from the living room! Absolutely loved the pool too!
  
  What could be improved: Balcony was a little small which can’t be helped, however all 6 of us couldn’t sit out together without bringing in chairs from living room, so maybe more chairs needed for outdoors. Pool was also meant to be heated but was quite cold! Maybe wardrobes in the rooms instead of shelves too!

  The appartment was not only super clean and extremely well equipped ( comfortable beds, washing machine, new plates, pots and pans, airco- definitely a blessing on hot dummer days) but also highly welcoming: we found small details like sun sheets, sun umbrella etc…also the pool was great when we did not feel like going to the beach and having a supermarket next door allowed us to cook easily our own food.
