Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Calle Antonio Navarro looking for this place, I almost drove right past it. The Sun and Sea Orlando isn’t your typical flashy hotel entrance, but that’s actually part of its charm. It’s tucked into this quiet residential street in Adeje, and once you find apartment 110, you realize you’ve stumbled onto something pretty special.

The terrace is what sold me immediately. I mean, you get these views that stretch out toward the coastline, and in the mornings – honestly, it’s one of those spots where you’ll find yourself lingering over coffee way longer than planned. The apartment itself has this lived-in feel that’s refreshing after staying in so many sterile hotel rooms. Everything works (the AC was a blessing in August), and while it’s not luxury by any means, it’s got character. The kitchen’s actually functional too, which is rare – I ended up cooking a few meals there because there’s a decent Mercadona just a ten-minute walk down the hill.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night. Adeje can be pretty touristy closer to the beaches, but this little pocket feels more like where actual people live. You’re still only about fifteen minutes from Playa del Duque if you want the fancy beach club scene, or twenty minutes to Los Cristianos if you prefer something more low-key. The host was responsive when I had questions about parking (there’s street parking, but it can get tight during peak season – just so you know). The 8.3 rating makes total sense to me; it’s not perfect, but it delivers exactly what it promises. The shower pressure could be better, and the Wi-Fi gets a bit spotty during evening hours when everyone’s online, but these are minor things. What you’re really paying for is that terrace, the location that’s close enough to everything but far enough from the crowds, and the feeling that you’re actually staying somewhere with some personality rather than just another generic rental.

  Appartment a great location in the complex.
  No problem getting sunbeds. Pool bar great and reasonable, staff lovely.
  Lovely clean appartment, all the facilities you need in there. Sleeps 2 adults and 2 children comfortably.

  We liked the location, there are bars within walking distance, the beach is a short walk but lots of steps, the washing machine was handy and it had cups,m plates, washing up liquid and some little handy extras that guests had left before us. There is a pool there which is a good size but rather cold, the snack bar is really nice also. The bed was comfy and there was a smart TV which really helped with the children. There is some good Chinese buffets, a McDonalds on the beach and a great bar named Amandas which does good food and has good entertainment. The host let us check out later and leave our bags which was very kind of her to do.
  The sofa bed was very easy to pull out also
  
  What could be improved: No lock on the bathroom door, no over and the microwave is very very slow. No sun at all on the terrace, no air con was very difficult although it was only 22 we really felt hot at night although there is a fan in the living room,.
  
  The apartment is next to the rear entrance gate so you can hear people coming in and out all night which is annoying, also its very secure in the apartment but there is a side window and the light comes in at 8am and woke up my children so had to put beach towels over the windows which seemed to really help keep out the light.
  No pillows just cushions on the bed.
  No music by the pool , a little dead.
