Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places in the Canary Islands, and Stunning Views Costamar 1A009 actually lives up to its name – which honestly surprised me because, you know, half these places just slap “stunning views” on everything. But this one’s different. The moment you step onto that balcony, you get why they picked this spot on Juan Carlos I street. You’re looking straight out over Los Cristianos bay, and I mean, it’s one of those views that makes you stop scrolling through your phone and just… stare for a minute.

The building itself sits in this sweet spot where you’re close enough to hear the buzz from the harbor area – there’s always something happening down there with the ferry boats heading to La Gomera – but far enough up that you’re not dealing with the late-night party noise from the beachfront bars. Actually, that’s something I really appreciated because Los Cristianos can get pretty lively, especially during winter when all the northern Europeans descend on the place (and I say that as someone who’s definitely part of that crowd). The apartment – and it really feels more like a proper apartment than a hotel room – has this lived-in quality that I actually prefer to those sterile resort places. The kitchen’s got everything you need if you want to grab some fresh fish from the market down by the old town part of Los Cristianos, though honestly, with all the good restaurants within walking distance, I barely used it.

What really sets this place apart is the location knowledge you get from staying here. You’re maybe a seven-minute walk from Playa de Los Cristianos, but here’s the thing locals know – if you walk just a bit further toward the rocky area near the port, you’ll find these little coves that are way less crowded than the main beach stretch. The building’s also positioned so you can easily walk to both the touristy part with all the British pubs and German bakeries, and the more authentic Spanish side where you’ll find places like Bar Romero (ask for directions – it’s tucked away but worth finding). Parking can be a bit of a dance around here, especially in high season, but there’s usually spots available on the side streets if you don’t mind a short walk. The 8.3 rating makes sense to me – it’s not luxury resort territory, but it’s solid, comfortable, and the views really do make up for any small quirks in the apartment setup. Plus, being right on Juan Carlos I means you’re on one of the main arteries, so getting around the island for day trips is straightforward. I’d definitely come back, especially during shoulder season when the weather’s still perfect but the crowds thin out a bit.

  The apartment was in a great location for us, of the main hussle and bustle, yet 6 or 7 café bars, and evening entertainment, right across the street. The apartment was spotless, and the bed was so comfy, slept like a log each night. Good size balcony, to eat morning breakfast, and relax,shaded against direct summer heat and glare in height of summer. Well stocked for our needs.

  – location was amazing: each day we were able to visit different beaches across South coast of Tenerife, such as Las Vistas, Los Cristianos, etc. We even visited some parts of Las Americas; also there is a big Dino market next to the apartments which was extremely great, and restaurants.

  Хорошее расположение. Тихо, красивый вид из окна. Рядом супермаркеты, рестораны. До хорошнго пляжа с песком идти 15 минут пешком. Отличный WiFi. Есть пляжный зонт. После выселения есть возможность оставить багаж в кладовке у консъержа-охранника до вашего отъезда.
  
  What could be improved: Размер апартаментов не соответствует действительности. Реальная площадь 45 квадратных метров. При заезде было грязно, много пыли. Пришлось самим делать уборку. Электрочайник не работал. Дверь в душевой кабине сломана, закрывается с трудом. Мебель имеет дешевый вид, местами обшарпаная.
