Look, I’ll be straight with you about this place – when I first walked into this studio on Calle Italia, I actually stood there for a good minute just staring out the window. The view is legitimately spectacular, and I mean that in the most non-travel-brochure way possible. You’re looking out over the coastline toward La Gomera, and honestly, it’s the kind of vista that makes you forget you’re checking your phone every five seconds.

The location is pretty brilliant if you know Adeje at all. Calle Italia isn’t one of those crazy busy tourist strips, but you’re literally a ten-minute walk from the main action around the beach areas. I actually preferred it this way – you get the peace and quiet (well, mostly quiet, there’s the occasional scooter), but you’re not stuck in some remote spot wondering how to get anywhere. The local buses run regularly if you don’t want to walk, and there’s decent parking nearby if you’ve got a rental car, which… let’s be real, you probably should in this part of Tenerife.

What surprised me most was how thoughtfully set up the studio actually is. It’s not huge – we’re talking studio apartment here, not a suite – but whoever designed this space really thought about how people actually live and move around. The kitchenette has everything you’d need for simple meals (and the local markets are fantastic if you want to cook), and the bathroom is surprisingly spacious for what you’d expect. The bed faces toward that incredible view, which sounds cheesy but is actually perfect for lazy mornings with coffee. I will say the WiFi was solid, which matters if you’re trying to work remotely or just want to post those sunset photos without waiting forever.

The 8.1 rating makes sense to me – it’s not luxury, but it’s genuinely comfortable and the view alone bumps it up several notches. AltamarHomes clearly knows what they’re doing with property management too. Check-in was smooth, they were responsive when I had questions, and the place was spotless when I arrived. The building itself is pretty typical for the area – nothing fancy, but well-maintained and secure.

If I’m being completely honest, the only real downside was that the street can get a bit noisy in the early morning with delivery trucks, but we’re talking maybe 7 AM and it doesn’t last long. Small price to pay for the location and that view. Also, if you’re the type who needs a full kitchen and tons of space, this might feel cramped – but for a couple or solo traveler who wants a comfortable base with an amazing outlook, it’s actually perfect. I found myself spending way more time just hanging out on the balcony than I’d planned, watching the light change over the water. Sometimes that’s exactly what you need from a place.
