It’s tucked right on Avenida de Cristobal Colón, which means you’re basically a two-minute walk from the Lago Martiánez complex (hence the name, I guess), but here’s the thing – you get all that proximity without the chaos. The studios are surprisingly quiet considering how close you are to everything, though I’d still recommend requesting something facing away from the avenue if you’re a light sleeper.

What really got me was the attention to detail. I mean, this isn’t some fancy resort, but whoever runs this place actually thinks about what travelers need. The kitchenettes are properly equipped – not just a sad mini-fridge and a broken coffee maker like so many places. You’ve got real counter space, decent-sized fridge, and honestly, the best part is having that little balcony where you can actually sit with your morning coffee and watch Puerto de la Cruz wake up. The whole setup feels more like borrowing a friend’s apartment than staying in a hotel, if that makes sense. And the Wi-Fi actually works everywhere, which – let’s be honest – is rarer than it should be in the Canaries.

The location is pretty brilliant if you know Puerto de la Cruz at all. You’re close enough to walk to Playa Jardín in about eight minutes (I timed it because I’m weird like that), but you’re also right there for all the good stuff on Avenida de Colón. There’s this little bakery about three doors down that does incredible pastries – locals line up there every morning around 8 AM. Plus, you’re walking distance to the old town center, which means you can actually explore the real Puerto de la Cruz, not just the tourist bits. Parking can be a bit tricky on the street, but there’s a public lot nearby, and the staff (who are genuinely helpful, not just going through the motions) will point you in the right direction. The 9.9 rating isn’t just inflated reviews – this place delivers on the small things that matter when you’re actually living somewhere for a few days, not just passing through.
