Look, I’ve stayed at plenty of places in Playa de Las Americas, and Studio Eldorado actually surprised me in the best way possible. You know how sometimes you book a place and cross your fingers it’ll be decent? Well, this one delivers on that 8.8 rating – and honestly, I can see why people keep coming back. The location on Avenida Santiago Puig is pretty much perfect if you want to be close to everything without being right in the thick of the tourist chaos. You’re literally a three-minute walk from the beach, but far enough back that you won’t hear drunk British tourists singing at 2 AM (trust me on this one).

The studios themselves are what I’d call “smart small” – they’ve really thought about how to make the space work without feeling cramped. The kitchenette is actually functional, not just decorative like some places, and the balcony… well, depending on which room you get, you might catch some ocean glimpses between the buildings. The staff really knows their stuff too – they gave me solid recommendations for restaurants that weren’t just the obvious tourist traps. There’s this little Canarian place called Casa Tagoro about a ten-minute walk away that I never would’ve found without their tip. The whole vibe is relaxed but professional, if that makes sense. Check-in was smooth, and they actually remembered my name the next day, which is rarer than it should be.

What really sets this place apart is the attention to details that matter when you’re actually living somewhere for a week. The Wi-Fi works properly (tested it on video calls), there’s decent water pressure in the shower, and the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a jet engine. The pool area gets good sun most of the day, and there are enough loungers that you don’t have to do that awkward towel-reservation thing at dawn. I mean, it’s not a massive resort-style pool, but it’s perfectly adequate for cooling off after a day exploring or hitting the beach. The only minor gripe I have is that the walls are a bit thin – nothing terrible, but you might hear your neighbors if they’re particularly enthusiastic about their vacation. Parking can be a bit of a hunt during peak season, but there’s usually something within a block or two. For the price point and location, Studio Eldorado hits that sweet spot where you feel like you’re getting good value without sacrificing comfort. It’s the kind of place where you can actually relax and feel at home, rather than just surviving your accommodation.

  I loved everything about it. Was met at airport. Shown apartment,given information on the area. Apartment was gorgeous as in picture, exceptionally clean. Bed was super comfortable. Had washing machine which is great bonus. Balcony gets sun all day. Was in the heart of everything. Great supermarket, bus outside front door. 24hr taxi rank across the road. 3 min walk to beach and promenade. Nothing to complain about. Host was super, efficient and friendly and available. Will definitely be back.

  washing machine, microwave and even spices to cook food, the waiting for you with a bottle of prosseco and water in the fridge

  Partiamo dalla disponibilità, cordialità, gentilezza di Rita super eccellente. Immobile pulito, decoroso, al centro tra las Americas e los cristianos. Persone veramente squisite dal transfert andata e ritorno e non per ultima Rita. Grazie ancora sicuramente lo consiglieremo ai nostri amici e parenti.

  What could be improved: La vue n'était pas terrible (mais on le savait) et le bruit des bars en soirée. Pas de problème la nuit sauf le camions poubelles à 2 heures du matin (mais le propriétaire n'y est pour rien)
