Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places along the Tenerife coast, and honestly? This Strelitzia apartment caught me completely off guard. You know how most “ocean view” places show you a tiny sliver of blue between two buildings if you crane your neck just right? Well, this isn’t that. From the moment I walked onto the balcony, I actually stopped mid-sentence – the view stretches right across to La Gomera on clear days, and you’re high enough up in the Royal Park Albatros complex that you feel like you’re floating above it all.

The heated pool situation is legit too, which matters more than you’d think. I mean, even in the Canaries, that Atlantic breeze can be pretty sharp in the evenings, especially around San Miguel where you’re catching those trade winds. But here’s what really sold me on the place – it’s the little details that someone clearly thought through. The kitchen actually has proper knives (miracle!), there’s enough hot water for two people to shower without negotiating, and the Wi-Fi doesn’t cut out every ten minutes like so many vacation rentals do. Plus, the whole complex feels secure without being stuffy – you’ve got that keycard access thing going on, but it’s not like some fortress where you need three different codes just to get to your door.

What I really appreciate is how they’ve positioned this place. You’re technically in San Miguel de Abona, but you’re up on this slight rise that puts you away from the main tourist chaos down in Los Cristianos – yet you can still drive down there in maybe fifteen minutes when you want that restaurant scene or the ferry to La Gomera. The Avenida J.M. Galván Bello area is actually pretty quiet, mostly residential, so you’re not dealing with late-night party noise or tour buses rumbling past at dawn. There’s a decent Spar just a few minutes’ walk away (essential for morning coffee supplies), and honestly, some of the best local tapas I had was at this tiny place called El Rincón that’s practically around the corner – doubt most tourists even know it exists. The apartment itself feels like someone’s actual home rather than a sterile rental unit, if that makes sense. Good lighting, comfortable bed, and that view… well, I found myself having my coffee on the balcony every morning just watching the light change across the water. At 9.4 rating, it’s clearly not just me who thinks this place gets the balance right between location, comfort, and that authentic Canarian experience you’re probably looking for.

  Everything was perfect. The apartment was really clean (for us it's the most important). There was everything we needed for cooking.
  Self check-in clear and easy. Katarzyna was always available and sent us all the information we needed. It was nice to find some water, coffee and tea arriving late. Anyway, there is also a supermarket open until 23.
  We even tried the pool. It wasn't very warm, but it was OK to swim even if it was windy and only 20 degrees outside.
  Would definitely choose again.

  Beautiful, clean, open and light apartment. Lots of light flooding in. It was perfect for a few days stay in the south as two adults and two children. The kids absolutely loved the pool which was never too busy and the water was a lovely temperature. The hosts were so lovely and accommodating and let us stay later in the apartment and use the pool as our flight wasn’t leaving until late. Highly recommend this apartment 😊

  Very helpful host, good instructions to check in, very close to the Airport Sud, a peaceful location, near sea and beaches. Good location to explore other sites of island. Clean apartment and with all equipment you need (shower gel, shampoo, dishwasher tablets, washing machine gel,…).

  Bardzo dobrze wyposażony, kawa, expres do kawy. Szczegół, ale dla podróżujących spędzających jedną noc w apartamencie to bardzo istotne. Uprzejmi właściciele, pomogli w organizacji transportu.

  Locatia este perfect, locatia este intr-un complex rezidential cu piscina si restaurant disponibil.
  Aproape de autobuz stati Golf Plaza 415 ,473 si altele care te ajuta sa ajungi de la aeroport la locatie si inapoi.
  Apartamentul a fost echipat cu toate necesare,prosope, gel de dush,sampon, cafea,ceai, detergent etc.
  Dispune si el de balcon este minunat ca poti sta afara seara sa admiri privelistea satului.
