Couples especially seem to love it here, and after spending time in the area, I totally get why — there’s something romantic about being able to stroll to dinner along the coast without dealing with the party crowd every single night.

The Accommodations

The rooms live up to that “new modern” name — clean lines, decent space, and everything actually works (you’d be surprised how often that’s not the case). What I appreciated most was the attention to comfort over flashiness. The beds are properly comfortable, there’s enough storage for a week-long stay, and the bathrooms feel updated rather than like they’re stuck in 2005. The balconies vary depending on which room you get, but even the smaller ones give you a nice spot for morning coffee or evening drinks.

In Playa de las Americas, that’s not something to take for granted — I’ve seen people circle blocks looking for spots or pay ridiculous daily rates at other places. If you’re planning to explore Tenerife beyond the resort areas (and you should), having your car sorted makes everything so much easier. The hotel also handles the little things well — reliable WiFi, helpful concierge service, and they’re not constantly trying to upsell you on everything.

  The apartment complex is right in front of playa de las americas, a dreamy sandy beach. All that’s needed can be found within a few feet. There are over 150 restaurants within 500m radius and numerous stores. The apartment is cute and functional with everything that a family needs for a comfortable stay. Kids pools ate equipped with slides. The complex with its many colorful flowers, magnificent palma trees and parrots chirping and chatting from their tops is soothing for the eyes. Our host Kathe was friendly and helpful.
