Hotel Description
You know what caught me off guard about this place? The name “Sea view terrace” is actually underselling it – when you’re sitting on that terrace with your morning coffee, you’re not just looking at the sea, you’re watching the whole drama of Playa Fañabe unfold below. I mean, you’ve got the beach right there, but you’re also perfectly positioned to people-watch the endless parade of tourists trying to figure out which way leads to Siam Park (it’s that way, past the shopping center, in case you’re wondering).
The location on Calle Venezuela is honestly brilliant if you know Las Américas at all. You’re far enough from the main strip that you won’t have drunk British tourists singing football chants at 3 AM, but close enough that you can walk to basically everything – the beach is literally a two-minute stroll, and there’s this little Mercadona just around the corner where you can grab supplies without paying hotel prices. The building itself has that solid, no-nonsense feel that a lot of newer developments lack, and honestly, the elevator actually works consistently, which… well, anyone who’s stayed in Spanish apartment hotels knows that’s not always a given. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – none of that “we’ll hold your passport for three days” nonsense some places pull.
What really makes this spot work is how it sits in the neighborhood. Playa Fañabe has this weird sweet spot thing going on where it’s busy enough to feel alive but not so crazy that you can’t find a decent spot on the beach after 10 AM. The terrace – and this is where that 9 rating starts making sense – catches the afternoon light perfectly, and there’s usually a nice breeze coming off the water that makes even the hottest days bearable. I actually ended up spending way more time there than I planned, just because it’s one of those spaces where you can actually relax without feeling like you’re missing out on something. The apartment itself is well-maintained (good water pressure, decent AC that doesn’t sound like a helicopter), and while it’s not fancy, everything works the way it should. Plus, parking isn’t the absolute nightmare it is in some parts of Las Américas – there’s usually something available on the street, though you might have to walk a block or two during peak season. If you’re the type who needs to be right in the thick of things, this might feel a bit too chill, but if you want easy access to everything with a place to actually decompress at the end of the day, it hits that balance really well.

Wonderful apartment! It is located very close to the beach, bus station, shopping center. Fully equipped kitchen, dishwashers and super quality linen and pillow laundry. Recently furnished, spacious, very clean with a large terrace with a dreamy view of the sunset from the 9th floor. We felt at home!

The apartment itself was superb. It was very clean and had all the facilities we needed. The lady who showed us the apartment, Bota, was very helpful and nice. The view from the balcony was amazing, and you can get to the seaside in 5 min walking.

The Apartment was spotless and clean and is exactly the same as the photos advertise. Sunsets were beautiful. Very central beside the bus station, the beach and many restaurants and bars. Julia & her colleague were very helpful when we arrived late because of a delayed flight.
