Royal Garden Villas, Luxury Hotel Overview
First Impressions
Honestly, when I first pulled up to Royal Garden Villas, Luxury Hotel, I wasn’t quite prepared for how stunning this place actually is. Set right on the Costa Adeje golf course in Adeje, this five-star property feels more like a private estate than a hotel. The villas are scattered across beautifully landscaped grounds, and you know what struck me most? The complete sense of privacy — each villa feels like your own little sanctuary tucked away from everything.
The Villas and Comfort
I mean, calling these accommodations rooms doesn’t really do them justice — each room is actually more like a spacious villa with its own character. The beds here are genuinely something special (and I’m pretty picky about where I sleep), so I totally get why guests rave about them. What I loved most was the attention to detail — from the marble bathrooms to the private terraces, everything feels thoughtfully designed. The kitchenette setup is perfect if you want to grab some local ingredients from the markets and prepare something simple, though honestly, with the hotel’s dining options, you might not need to.
Location and Surroundings
The location is pretty brilliant, actually. You’re right on the golf course, which gives you these incredible views and a sense of space that’s hard to find along the coast. Couples absolutely love it here — and I can see why, since it strikes that perfect balance between being secluded but not isolated. You’re still close enough to Costa Adeje’s beaches and the livelier parts of Tenerife, but far enough away that you feel like you’ve escaped. The parking situation is refreshingly stress-free too — private spots right at the hotel, which is honestly a relief when you’re exploring the island by car.
Dining and Amenities
The breakfast spread here really impressed me — they’ve got everything covered, from continental classics to vegetarian, vegan, halal, and gluten-free options. It’s one of those buffets where you actually want to try everything rather than just grabbing the usual suspects. The restaurant has this lovely terrace setting where you can eat while looking out over the golf course, especially nice in the evening when the light gets all golden. The spa facilities are exactly what you’d expect from a luxury property — well-appointed and peaceful, perfect for unwinding after a day exploring the island or just lounging by the pool.
Why Guests Love It
What really sets this place apart is how it manages to feel both luxurious and genuinely relaxing. I’ve stayed at plenty of five-star hotels that feel a bit stuffy or overly formal, but there’s something refreshingly laid-back about Royal Garden Villas. The staff strikes that perfect balance — attentive without being hovering, professional but warm. It’s the kind of place where you can spend your entire stay on the property and feel completely satisfied, or use it as a beautiful base for exploring Tenerife’s southern coast. Either way, you’ll probably find yourself already planning your return visit before you’ve even checked out.
The luxury concierge service in Tenerife unlocks chartered dolphin safaris, volcanic spa rituals, and after-hours observatory sessions.

A hidden gem. Sat behind a large wooden door lies an oasis of calm. Designed by its owner an architect and interior designer it’s cleverly laid out and the villas are wonderful.

Lovely suite with cute outside area and private mini-pool. Enjoyed sitting in partial shade reading for much of our stay in November. The main pool was lovely as was the spa. We used the small gym a couple of times it was a bit limited but fine. We walked into the nearest village each night to eat and drink. We used the nearby golf range and golf course, both good facilities for us as beginner/intermediate golfers.

Really friendly staff and manager was great
Only down sides are lack of a bar for a drink after dinner in the evening which is sad as the restaurant and food is excellent
And the room service isn’t quite good enough as its cool when it arrives
But is served very we’ll
