You know what? Rooms City isn’t going to win any design awards, but there’s something genuinely refreshing about a hotel that doesn’t try to be something it isn’t. Located on Calle El Saltadero in San Isidro, it’s one of those solid three-star places that actually delivers on its promise – clean rooms, decent service, and a location that puts you right in the heart of things without the tourist trap pricing.

The first thing you’ll notice is how quiet it is, especially considering you’re basically in the center of San Isidro. I mean, sure, you’ll hear some street noise during the day, but honestly, it’s part of the charm of staying in a real Spanish neighborhood rather than some sterile hotel district. The rooms are bigger than you’d expect – I had plenty of space to actually unpack, which doesn’t always happen in European hotels. The beds are comfortable enough (though the pillows are a bit flat, if I’m being picky), and the bathrooms are modern without being flashy. What I really appreciated was the air conditioning that actually worked – crucial during those sweltering Canarian summers when even the locals are complaining about the heat.

The staff here genuinely seem to care, which makes a huge difference. Check-in was smooth, and the guy at reception gave me actual useful directions to the bus stop rather than just pointing vaguely down the street. Speaking of getting around, you’re about a ten-minute walk from the main commercial area, and there’s a decent little café just around the corner on Calle Mencey that serves proper coffee – not the tourist stuff. Parking can be a bit tricky during busy periods (weekends especially), but there’s usually something available within a block or two if you’re patient. The 7.9 rating makes sense to me – it’s not luxury, but it’s honest hospitality in a town where you can still get a feel for authentic Canarian life. If you’re looking for a base to explore the area without breaking the bank or dealing with resort crowds, this place does exactly what it says on the tin.

  I liked everything, the staff really friendly and helpful. Location very close to the bus station and main road. Facilities were impeccable and everything cleaned and new. I'll totally recommended we had a happy pleasant stay and happy moments.

  Très bel appartement bien décoré avec une terrasse assez sympa. Calme et proche de la station de bus. Cuisine équipée. Wifi. Toilette et douche personnelles.
  Espace de rangement. Nettoyage régulier des espaces communs et possibilité de demander un nettoyage de la chambre si on le souhaite.

  Voor één nacht prima. Er is een gezamenlijke ruimte met keuken. Op de eerste verdieping zijn er een aantal slaapkamers die verhuurd worden. Wel met eigen douche en toilet. Wel gehorig.

  Huone oli pieni mutta toimiva . Huoneen nurkassa oleva lasinen suihkukoppi alussa ihmetytti mutta oli kuitenkin hyvä . Henkilökunta oli erittäin mukava ja tilat olivat todella puhtaat . Siivoojat kävi joka päivä siivoamassa yhteiset tilat.

  Esta cerca del aeropuerto y fue el motivo por el que lo eligimos. Teníamos un coche de alquiler y nuestro avión salía a las 6 00, tardamos solo 5 minutos en llegar.
