Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Rayo Apartment in Golf del Sur, I wasn’t expecting much from what looked like just another residential building. But you know what? Sometimes the best places are the ones that don’t try too hard to impress you from the outside. This spot, tucked away in the Parque Albatros building, actually turned out to be one of those hidden gems that makes you want to keep it secret.

The thing about Golf del Sur is that it’s not your typical touristy corner of Tenerife – I mean, yeah, there’s the golf course (obviously), but it’s got this laid-back residential vibe that honestly feels more authentic than the resort strips up north. Rayo Apartment sits right in the middle of this, and from the moment you step inside, you get why it’s pulling an 8.6 rating. The space feels way more generous than most hotel rooms, and there’s something refreshing about having an actual kitchen where you can make proper coffee in the morning instead of that weird hotel room instant stuff. The apartment itself is clean and well-maintained – not flashy, but everything works, which is more than I can say for some fancier places I’ve stayed.

What really sold me on this place though was the practical stuff that nobody talks about until it matters. Parking? Actually easy, which is a miracle in this part of Spain. The building’s quiet – you’re not dealing with slamming doors and hallway conversations at 2 AM like you get in those big resort hotels. And here’s the thing about the location that the listing doesn’t really capture: you’re literally a five-minute walk from some decent restaurants (the little tapas place down toward the marina is solid), but you’re also close enough to the airport that you’re not spending your entire last day traveling. The coastal path is right there too, perfect for those early morning walks when the island’s still waking up. Sure, it’s not beachfront – you’ll need to drive or take a short bus ride to get to the good swimming spots – but that also means you’re not paying beachfront prices or dealing with the crowds. It’s sort of the perfect middle ground for people who want to actually experience Tenerife without being stuck in a tourist bubble, you know?

  Everything was good. The owners of the apartment were friendly, everything was clean, there is a swimming pool on the territory, many supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The apartment had everything you need: crockery, towels, iron, hairdryer, shower gel, coffee, tea.

  Loved the pool which was heated. Glad that the children have their own pool.
  
  What could be improved: I really didn't like the fact that during the seven days we spent in the apartments, they were never cleaned, even though the amount for cleaning was included in the bill. We had to find out ourselves where to take out the garbage. Toilet paper for seven days for four people, two small rolls. Towels were not changed.

  A szállásadók nagyon kedvesek, rugalmasak voltak, minden zökkenőmentesen ment. A szállás olyan volt, mint a képeken, tisztaság, rend fogadott minket. A belső medencerész dekoratív, habár fürdeni nem volt időnk benne.
  
  What could be improved: Sajnos vékonyak a falak, hallottam éjszaka a szomszéd tévéműsorát. A fürdőszobára ráférne egy felújítás.

• Leuk appartement met verwarmd zwembad! – Den from Belgium – 20 November 2024 (9/10)

  Het is een mooi complex, heel leuk appartement, met als pluspunt het verwarmde zwembad.
  Het appartement is ruim, alles is er aanwezig. Mooi terras, dat uitgeeftop het groot mooie zwembad.
  Leuke bar om iets klein te eten of te drinken.
  De verhuurders waren heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam.
  Ook makkelijk is de parking voor het complex.
  We komen hier zeker terug.
  
  What could be improved: Het enige minpunt, maar daar kunnen de eigenaars niets aan doen, was het geluid s'morgens vroeg, van de taxis die daar verzamelen, of van de bussen van het grote hotel aan de overkant.
  De taxi mannen praten heel luid onder elkaar, en/of, de reiskoffers worden in de bus gesmeten met draaiende motoren, en dit begint reeds om 6u s'morgens en soms zelfs vroeger.
  Heel irritant, want de slaapkamer geeft uit op de parking straatkant.

  Bardzo dziękujemy Pani Kasi za pomoc. Uciekaliśmy z innego lokum. Mieszkanie jest bardzo bardzo duże. Jest tak przytulne, że człowiek się rozleniwia i nie chce się wychodzić 🙂 Czuliśmy się jak w domu. Mega plus za działająca klimatyzację na całe mieszkanie co w naszym okresie pobytu było niezbędne. Wszystko pachnące. Zapach w mieszkaniu jak w nowym. Parter i mini ogródek sprawia, że to dodatkowy plus bo szybko się wychodzi do super basenu i na zewnątrz. Zawsze szybki kontakt z opiekunem mieszkania czyli P. Kasią. Widoki super. Można wjechać na górę i tam to są widoki. Super spacery po zamkniętym ośrodku. Nie lubimy wracać w to samo miejsce ale tu chyba byśmy zrobili wyjątek. Okolica przepiękna. Nie trzeba naprawdę nigdzie jeździć jak ktoś nie lubi. Mega wygodne łóżka. Super pralka ogromna i nowa. Pranie suche po wypraniu oczywiście suszarka do wieszania mega duża. Łazienka z wanną to było moje miejsce wypoczynku po całym dniu jest piękna. Ogromna szafa. Żelazko. Deska do prasowania. Suszarka. Mieszkanie ma też dobrą akustykę tylko w łazience nie. Oczywiście słychać sąsiadów ale w normie i można też zawsze poprosić o przyciszenie tv tak my zrobiliśmy. Dobrze zabezpieczone duże drzwi balkonowe. Czuliśmy się tam bezpiecznie. Poznaliśmy też ochroniarza bardzo sympatyczny. Bardzo ładny wystrój mieszkania. Nie robiłam zdjęć mieszkania bo po prostu wszystko się zgadza ze zdjęciami z opisu.
  
  What could be improved: Są małe minusy i to nie zależne od mieszkania. To teren przy lotnisku więc jest co oglądać ale i słychać hałas. Samoloty latają centralnie nad basenem.Po zamknięciu okien w środku nie było tego tak słychać. Na terenie basenu rządzi Stefano w barze puszczając od 12.00 do 21.00 non stop tą samą muzykę i to bardzo głośno. Ponoć nie ma na niego bata. W poniedziałek go nie ma. Wtedy jest taka cisza oprócz samolotów. Okno od sypialni bym bardziej jeśli się da uszczelniła bo jednak to sypialnia od ulicy i słychać za dużo. Ręczniki do wymiany (zaczynają pachnieć stęchlizną) to po prostu zużycie. Patelnia również do wymiany. Fajnie by było gdyby były większe kubki i jakiś dzbanek do parzenia herbaty. Oszczędność obopólna. Niestety internet działa tylko w dużym pokoju. W sypialni nie zawsze lub prawie w ogóle. I to przełączanie męczące. Ale może mamy spać a nie siedzieć na telefonie i to mi się podoba in plus. Niestety coś jest nie tak z prądem po po włączeniu palników i okapu wywala korki. Na szczęście znamy ten problem z autopsji przed remontem u nas i jest to do zrobienia bo grozi pożarem. Proszę naprawdę wziąść sobie to do serca. Ogólnie brakowało mi info o tym, że papier toaletowy będę musiała dokupić sama. Tak nigdy nie miałam nigdzie. Dziękuję za zakup kapsułek do prania. Proszę potraktować te minusy jako rady. Brak było też odpowiedzi na pytanie przed ząbkowaniem mieszkania. Może to był zbyt krótki czas nie wiem. Ogólnie mam spektrum nadwrażliwości na hałas co u mnie objawia się to bardzo nie fajnie. A dałam tu radę więc nie jest tak źle.

  Super ubytování. Čiste. Pohodlne. V kuchyni vše k dispozici pro možnost vaření. Parádní terasa hned u bazénu.
  Kousek velmi dobre restaurace i obchod. Navíc hned u bytu je veřejně parkoviště.coz je velká výhoda.
