Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places around Santa Cruz, but this apartment on Rambla de Santa Cruz honestly caught me off guard – and that 9.8 rating? Yeah, it’s actually earned. The thing is, most people don’t realize how perfect this stretch of the Rambla is. You’re literally on the main boulevard where locals actually hang out, not some tourist trap street. I mean, you step outside and there’s this whole flow of life happening – people heading to work, kids on their way to school, that sort of authentic Tenerife vibe you can’t fake.

The apartment itself is on the seventh floor (there’s an elevator, thank god), and when they say “nuevo” they mean it. Everything feels fresh and thoughtfully put together, not like someone just threw IKEA furniture in a room and called it a day. The 1GB internet actually works – I was skeptical because, you know, island internet can be sketchy, but I had zero issues working from there. The kitchen’s compact but functional, which matters if you’re staying more than a few nights and want to grab fresh stuff from the Mercado de Nuestra Señora de África just down the way. Actually, that market is one of those insider spots most tourists miss completely, but it’s maybe a ten-minute walk and worth it for the local produce and that incredible atmosphere.

Here’s what really sold me though – the location gives you options. You can walk to the ferry terminal if you’re island-hopping (did that twice), or head toward the Auditorio area for dinner without needing a car. The building itself is quiet enough that you’re not dealing with street noise all night, but you’re still connected to everything happening in the city center. Parking can be tricky in this area, I’ll be honest, but there are spots if you’re patient – or just skip the car entirely since you can walk or catch buses to most places you’d want to go. The check-in was smooth, none of that awkward waiting around trying to coordinate key pickups. And honestly? For a 4-star place with that kind of rating, I expected it to be overpriced, but it’s actually reasonable for what you get and where you are. If you’re the type who wants to experience Santa Cruz like someone who actually lives there instead of just passing through, this place gets it right.

  I had a wonderful stay at this apartment! It was spotless and exactly as shown in the photos. The hosts were incredibly kind and even sent me recommendations for places to visit in the area, which was very helpful.
  
  My trip happened to coincide with my birthday, and the hosts surprised me with a bottle of local wine as a gift. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made my experience even more special.

  Apartment was marvilioso, pure joy, imackably clean, everything is new and of a excellent quality. Beds are very confy, with bunch of pillows to everyones like, home parfumes around. Kitchen eventhough small has everything you need and we were welcomed with a bottle of vine🥂 and water. Eventhough less than 40 sqm it is well organized and very cosy, home like. Owners were very handy, easy to contact and very helpful for whatever may come to your mind. Location of the apartment is also good, by the end of Rambla street, but yet in city central zone. Parking was a bit challenging, but you can manage a block away. Supermarkets and restorans in 10 min walk. This home is a real gem, I highly recommend staying here

  Very modern apartment with all facilities including air conditioning. Extremely clean and comfortable. The host was super-helpful. The washing machine is on the roof of the building and very practical if you spend few days on the beaches or hiking.

  We had everything we needed in the flat in our one month long stay. Location offered both proximity to the city center and tranquility, with easy access to the stunning Las Teresitas beach. Anastasia, our host, exceeded expactations with her exceptional hospitality, always readily available and offering invaluable assistance and insights throughout our stay.   The place is in great location, very clean, all in excellent condition, near to places for any kind of food, shopping, transportation, downtown, parks, pharmacy and medical services at Rambla Hospiten. One block from Anaga Avenue and 10 minutes to main street, with several options for meals and shopping.

  L’appartement le plus propre que j’ai vu de toutes les locations faites!! Appartement joliment décoré , bien situé pour visiter la ville même à pied, literie confortable, nombreuses serviettes disponibles, grand espace de rangement pour les vêtements. Accueil très aimable d’Anastasia et de son mari; contact facile et explications claires sur les commodités de l’appartement données par Anastasia ; elle nous a envoyé des informations sur les endroits, restos intéressants dans le coin. Le matin du départ, nous avions oublié quelque chose d’important dans l’appartement et j’ai dû l’appeler tôt car nous prenions le traversier; elle nous a aidé à récupérer le tout rapidement et ce, avec une gentillesse qu’on rencontre rarement chez les locateurs. J’y retournerais sans hésiter lors d’un séjour à Santa Cruz.
