I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to this little studio on Calle Buen Viaje, I wasn’t expecting much from the street view. The address sounds fancy but it’s actually in a pretty residential area of Granadilla de Abona, which honestly works in your favor because you’re away from the tourist chaos but still totally doable for getting around Tenerife’s south coast. The whole setup is basically a private studio with your own terrace and access to a shared pool, and you know what? It punches way above its 3-star rating.

The studio itself is compact but cleverly laid out – someone actually thought about how real people live in small spaces. The terrace is where this place really shines though, and I mean really shines. You’ve got enough space to eat breakfast outside (which you’ll want to do because the morning light hits just right), and there’s this view that stretches toward the coast that nobody mentions in the booking photos. The pool area is shared but never felt crowded when I was there, probably because most guests are out exploring during the day anyway. What I loved is that you can actually hear the ocean from the terrace on quiet evenings – not crashing waves, but that subtle sound that reminds you you’re on an island.

Location-wise, you’re about a 15-minute drive to the coast and maybe 20 to the airport, which is actually perfect timing if you’re flying out early or coming in late. There’s a little supermarket about a 5-minute walk away where locals shop (not touristy at all), and the woman who runs it will chat with you in broken English if you’re friendly. Parking is easy – just street parking that’s always available, unlike some places closer to the beaches where you’re circling forever. The check-in was smooth, though you might want to coordinate arrival times since it’s not a traditional hotel setup. The 8.3 rating makes total sense to me because this isn’t luxury, but it’s exactly what it promises to be: a clean, private space with outdoor living and pool access at a price that won’t destroy your vacation budget. Perfect for couples who want their own space or solo travelers who appreciate having a proper kitchen and don’t need hotel services every day.
