You know what struck me first about Precise Resort Tenerife? It’s actually tucked away on this quiet little street called Camino Burgado, which honestly feels like a bit of a hidden gem compared to the main tourist drag in Puerto de la Cruz. I mean, you’re still close enough to walk to the old town center – maybe fifteen minutes on foot – but you’re not dealing with the constant buzz of tour groups and street vendors right outside your window.

The resort itself has this sort of understated elegance that I wasn’t expecting from a four-star place. The lobby’s got these gorgeous volcanic stone accents (very Canary Islands, obviously) and the staff at check-in actually remembered my name throughout the stay, which is rare these days. What really won me over though was the pool area – it’s got multiple levels with different vibes, so you can find your spot whether you want to be social or just disappear with a book. The infinity pool overlooking the Atlantic is honestly spectacular, especially around sunset when the light hits just right. Fair warning though, it gets pretty crowded during peak season (July-August), so I’d recommend grabbing your lounger early if you’re visiting then.

Here’s the thing about Puerto de la Cruz that a lot of people don’t realize – it’s got this perfect microclimate where it’s usually a few degrees cooler than the south of the island, and the resort takes full advantage of that. The gardens are absolutely lush, with these massive palm trees and tropical plants that you just don’t see thriving in the more arid parts of Tenerife. Plus, you’re literally a ten-minute walk from Playa Jardín, which is this black sand beach that’s way more dramatic than your typical resort beach. The hotel can get you beach towels and everything, so you don’t have to worry about lugging stuff around. One small gripe – the Wi-Fi can be spotty in some of the rooms, particularly the ones facing the garden side, but honestly, maybe that’s not such a bad thing when you’re trying to unwind. The restaurant’s pretty solid too, with this terrace where you can actually hear the waves crashing below. They do a mean paella on Sundays, and the local fish is always fresh. All in all, with an 8.1 rating, it’s definitely earning its keep – it’s that sweet spot where you feel like you’re getting quality without the pretentious four-star attitude.

  The property is very clean,roomed cleaned everyday its not noisy.Food is amazing.You get a glass of wine to welcome you.The staff are also kind and good.

  Stunning ocean view! However, be aware that the waves crashing against the shore can be quite loud, especially during intense swell conditions. That said, we still managed to sleep well. Fantastic breakfast with a good selection, including gluten-free options. Overall, the facilities and service were very good. Though the hotel is a bit far from the city center, shuttle buses are available, and it’s a lovely walk along the coastline.
