You know what struck me first about Preciosa cabaña? The name actually makes sense once you’re standing there – it really is a precious little cabin tucked away on this quiet stretch of Calle Vistabella. I mean, Guía de Isora isn’t exactly the first place tourists think of when they hit Tenerife, but honestly, that’s what makes this spot so special. You’re away from the madness of the southern resorts but still close enough to everything that matters.

The cabin itself has this rustic charm that doesn’t feel forced or Instagram-fake. When I walked in, there was this immediate sense of someone actually caring about the details – the kind of touches you notice when you’ve stayed in too many soulless hotel rooms. The wood feels real under your feet, and there’s this particular way the light filters through the windows in the afternoon that makes you want to just sit there with a coffee and watch the world slow down. The 9.5 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there a day or two. It’s not luxury in the marble-and-champagne sense, but it’s that better kind of luxury where everything just works and feels right. The owners (I’m guessing they live nearby) seem to have figured out all those little things that turn a good stay into one you actually remember. Hot water that stays hot, WiFi that doesn’t drop every five minutes, and – this might sound weird – but the bed is positioned so you can see out the window when you wake up, which is surprisingly rare in most places.

What really won me over was the location itself. Guía de Isora has this authentic Canarian feel that you lose in the bigger tourist towns. There’s a local market on certain days where you can actually practice your Spanish without feeling like you’re bothering anyone, and the drive to Playa San Juan takes maybe ten minutes if you want proper beach time. The road up to Teide is pretty accessible from here too, which is perfect if you’re planning that sunrise trip (and you should – just bring layers because it’s freezing up there). Parking isn’t a nightmare like it is closer to the coast, and the neighborhood stays pretty quiet even during peak season. I slept better here than I have in some five-star places, honestly. The only minor thing I’d mention is that you’ll want a car – it’s not really a walk-everywhere kind of location, but that’s sort of the point. You’re getting that peaceful, tucked-away feeling without being completely isolated from civilization.

  Everything was great, very quiet place relaxing , location great near all the nicest areas , and the main star of the location is the pool, private and very clean . The property has all the facilities you need for a perfect relaxing holiday.

  Quite hidden place, out of the tourist zone, up on the hill, so you need a car, but you can reach the popular (or even the more hidden) beaches within 20-25 minutes. You have an own car park there, which is very-very precious, you'll realise that in a minute, of you get familiar with the lack of parking places on the island during the main season. Very nice and helpful hosts, nice neibourghs, as well, I can only recommend it, if you want to get familiar with the real face of Tenerife, and don't need the crowd around you. The cabin is equipped with all necessary stuff, and you'll find big supermarkets within 10-15 minutes (by car) if you'ld like to buy and cook your food. No restaurants though in the surrounding, bear that in mind, but if you have a car, you can go out and eat easily, as everything is reachable comfortably.

  Klidná lokalita, naprostý klid a pohoda v samostatném domku, parkování přímo u apartmánu, prostě skvělé.
  Wifi, a vše potřebné naprosto dostačující, čistý menší domek. Kdo nehledá luxus ale klid a pohodu, doporučuji.
  Do centra Las Americas je to cca. 15 km. auto je zde potřeba. Hostitel skvělý a ochotný, cokoliv bylo potřeba ihned reagoval.
  
  What could be improved: Jen bych možná doporučil vybavit ložnici teplejší přikrývkou, v lednu tu je v noci chladněji. Přeci jen 650 m nad m. je znát.
