Look, I’ve stayed at my fair share of vacation rentals along the Spanish coast, and Pino’s Vivienda Vacacional honestly surprised me in the best way possible. You know how Costa Del Silencio gets written off as just another tourist strip? Well, this place made me actually appreciate what the area has to offer. It’s tucked away on José Antonio Tavio – not the main drag where all the chaos happens, but close enough that you can walk to the decent restaurants without feeling like you’re in the middle of nowhere.

The thing about Pino’s is that it feels like someone actually thought about what travelers need, not just what looks good in photos. I mean, the apartment itself is genuinely comfortable – and I’m picky about these things. The beds are actually decent (you’d be amazed how many places skimp on this), and there’s proper kitchen space if you want to grab groceries from the Mercadona down the road instead of eating out every night. The balcony situation is pretty sweet too, especially if you snag one of the units facing away from the street – mornings are surprisingly quiet for this part of Tenerife. What really got me was the little touches: good water pressure in the shower, reliable WiFi that doesn’t cut out every twenty minutes, and honest-to-god blackout curtains that actually block the light.

Here’s what I wish someone had told me before I booked – parking is straightforward (there’s a spot that comes with the unit), and the whole check-in process was refreshingly drama-free. Pino clearly knows what he’s doing after years of hosting people. The location works really well if you’re planning to explore beyond just the immediate area. You’re about fifteen minutes from Los Cristianos if you want the busier beach scene, but you can also easily get to some of the quieter spots along the coast that most tourists miss entirely. I ended up spending quite a bit of time just walking along the coastal path that runs behind the development – it’s nothing fancy, but it’s peaceful and you get those classic Canary Islands volcanic rock formations without the crowds. The only minor thing I’d mention is that if you’re expecting luxury resort vibes, this isn’t that – it’s more like staying at a friend’s well-maintained apartment, which honestly worked better for me anyway. The 9.5 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there a few days and realized how smoothly everything just works.

  There was literally everything in the apartment! Spices, soaps, snorkelling masks, hair straightener… very comfortable bed and beautiful view from the balcony. Highly recommend!!
  
  What could be improved: It could have been a bit cleaner, there was dust/ground on the floor, but it is a windy area and I guess there is not much to do? Some cutlery was dirty (but this is on the previous tenants I guess!) Still 9 out of 10!

  Pino e Angela sono stati davvero adorabili, al nostro arrivo ci hanno fatto trovare del vino, dell'acqua e vari prodotti sia alimentari che per l'igiene sempre utili durante una vacanza!!! Ci hanno inoltre consigliato vari nel posti da visitare e ristoranti dove cenare.. La posizione era ottima, vicino alla strada principale che ti conduce nelle varie località! Pulizia imbeccabile, appartamento piccolino ma essenziale, non mancava nulla! Grazie per averci fatto sentire come a casa!

  La struttura si raggiunge facilmente dall’aeroporto. L’appartamento è una piccola bomboniera, c’è tutto quello che serve, a pochi passi si trova il supermercato. Zona carina, tranquilla, e si può raggiungere facilmente ogni parte dell’isola. Pino e Angela sono stati carinissimi, gentilissimi, sempre disponibili anche con le varie informazioni. Ci siamo sentiti come a casa.

  Appartement sympa et convivial. Il y a tout pour se dépanner que ce soit pour cuisiner ou faire sa toilette. Lieux stratégique pour aller au restaurant et faire des courses sans prendre la voiture. Piscine disponible .

  Az apartman nagyon jó helyen van, a közelben élelmiszer boltok, éttermek, buszmegálló. Az óceán part, Playa Amarilla csak 6-7 perces séta.
  Az apartman minden szükséges tárggyal fel van szerelve (még bevásárlószatyor is volt). A tisztaság példa értékű.

  What could be improved: Ebben a május eleji időszakban még elviselhető volt az apartman hőmérséklete, de nyárra jól jönne a klíma.

  La struttura si trova in una posizione abbastanza strategica per chi ha in programma di vistare sia il nord ma soprattutto il sud dell’isola.
  Pino e Angela sono stati veramente molto molto accoglienti, ci hanno fatto trovatore all’interno dell’appartamento tutto ciò di cui si ha bisogno, ci siamo sentiti a casa.
  Pino ci ha consigliato posti fantastici che solamente con l’uso di internet sarebbe stato impossibile vederli.
  Pulizia impeccabile.
