Look, I’ll be straight with you about Paradise Sunset – it’s one of those places that honestly surprised me in the best way possible. When I first pulled up to Calle Médico Ernesto Castro (and yes, you’ll probably need GPS because Tacoronte’s streets can be a bit of a maze), I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star spot. But you know what? Sometimes the unassuming places are exactly what you need.

The thing about this hotel is that it actually gets the basics right, which sounds simple but trust me, it’s not always a given. The rooms are clean – I mean properly clean, not just “looks okay from a distance” clean – and the staff genuinely seems to care about making sure you’re sorted. What really struck me was how quiet it gets at night, even though you’re not completely isolated from everything. I mean, Tacoronte itself isn’t exactly a bustling metropolis, but there’s something peaceful about this particular corner of it. You’ll hear the occasional car, maybe some birds in the morning, but none of that jarring hotel noise that keeps you up. The sunset views (hence the name, I guess) are actually pretty spectacular from the right rooms – ask for one facing west if you can, though honestly, even without the view, the place has a relaxed vibe that just works.

Here’s what I really appreciated: the location puts you close enough to the wine country that you can easily explore the local bodegas – and Tacoronte-Acentejo wines are seriously underrated, by the way. Plus, you’re about a 20-minute drive from the coast if you want to hit the beaches, but far enough inland that you get those cooler mountain temperatures at night. Parking was never an issue, which might sound trivial until you’ve spent 30 minutes circling blocks in other Spanish towns looking for a spot. The breakfast is… well, it’s continental, nothing fancy, but they do have decent coffee and fresh fruit. Actually, the woman who runs the breakfast service (I think her name was Carmen?) makes these little pastries that are way better than they have any right to be at a 3-star hotel. Small touches like that really make a difference, you know? I’d definitely stay here again – it’s not going to wow you with luxury, but it’s got that comfortable, authentic feel that makes you want to settle in and actually experience the area instead of just passing through.

  Sitio muy tranquilo para desconectar y pasar un rato agradable cerca de unas piscinas naturales fantásticas y una playita de lujo tb tienes guachinches por la zona que se come muy bien lo mejor los dueños siempre atentos con nosotros y cuidadosos nos vamos muy contentos
