You know what struck me first about Paradise Apartment? It’s actually in one of those quieter residential streets just off the main strip in El Médano – Calle Villa de la Orotava sounds fancy, but it’s honestly just a regular neighborhood road where locals park their cars and hang laundry. Which is perfect, because you get that authentic Canarian vibe without the tourist chaos. The building itself is pretty typical for the area, nothing flashy, but when you walk into the apartment… well, someone clearly put thought into making it work for travelers. The kitchen actually has proper counter space (I mean, you’d be surprised how many vacation rentals skimp on this), and the living area opens up nicely with these big windows that let in all that incredible Tenerife light.

What really sells this place though is the location – and I don’t mean that in the generic “convenient location” way everyone says. El Médano is basically the windsurfing capital of the Canaries, so if you’re into that scene, you’re literally a five-minute walk from the beach where all the action happens. Even if you’re not into water sports, the vibe here is just… different from the resort towns. More relaxed, more real. You’ve got actual tapas bars where locals eat, not just tourist traps, and the main beach stretches for miles without being packed with loungers. The apartment sits right in the sweet spot where you can walk to everything – the little supermarket, the beachfront promenade, even the bus stop if you want to explore other parts of the island. Parking can be a bit tricky during peak season (summer gets busy with the windsurfing crowd), but honestly, once you’re settled in, you barely need a car. The 8.6 rating makes sense when you consider it’s delivering exactly what it promises – a clean, comfortable base that doesn’t try to be something it’s not. The only thing I’d mention is that El Médano can get pretty windy (it’s literally why the windsurfers come here), so if you’re looking for those perfectly calm pool days, this might not be your spot. But if you want to experience Tenerife beyond the typical tourist bubble, with easy access to both the beach scene and the authentic local life, Paradise Apartment actually lives up to its name – just in a more down-to-earth way than you might expect.

  L appartamento offre molti confort con cucina molto ampia e piano di cottura a induzione, diversi elettrodomestici. È inoltre presente un piccolo spazio esterno con lavatrice e stendino utile per asciugare i vestiti e gli asciugamani.
  La posizione è centrale e vicina al mare con diversi ristoranti e supermercati nei pressi.
  
  What could be improved: Il letto matrimoniale era un po' piccolo rispetto alle dimensioni che abbiamo in Italia.

  Es war alles vorhanden, was man braucht oder sogar noch mehr. Sehr gute Lage. Alles in der Nähe, Geschäfte, Strand.
  
  What could be improved: Es war nachts bisschen laut, wenn man Fenster aufgemacht hat. es fehlt ein großer Spiegel, damit man sich sehen kann.

  Die Wohnung liegt nur ein paar Schritte vom Strand und vielen Lokalen entfernt. Dennoch ruhig, da in einer Seitenstraße, die eine Fußgängerzone ist.
  
  What could be improved: Durch die Lage in einer Seitenstraße ist der Ausblick auf diese (Fußgängerzone) beschränkt. Ich hatte keine Auto und kann nicht sagen, wie es mit Parkplätzen aussieht.
