  It's a peaceful little oasis with a beautiful garden , the neighborhood is not great but it doesn't matter at all.Little cottage is spotlessly clean, modern , comfortable , kitchen is very well equipped and great shower. Relaxing view of the ocean in the distance. Very good starting point for hiking in Anaga mountains.The owners Nayra and Victor live on the property and they are very kind , generous and helpful.The acess to the property is really easy, it's only 200 m uphill from the main street on a good road.

  Very warm welcome, nice surprise with different fruits (Best papaya ever). Very calm, well equipped kitchen, nice spacy shadowed terrace, colourful garden, lots of explanations regarding walking tours and time, busses, restaurants, piscinas naturales, island sights, markets etc. Hosts are so friendly, it was a pleasure staying with you!!

  We had delightful stay at Papaya Cottage. Great communication with the owners, who are always helpful, also suggesting some places to visit in the island. Apartment was very clean, everything we needed was there. When we got there there were some delicious fruits and water left for us. Highly recommending this place!

  The cottage is a "hidden gem" in Punta del Hidalgo. It has a beautiful garden to relax and is very peaceful (i.e., close to the sea but not so close that you get bothered by the noise of the sea). It is a perfect starting point for hiking tours into the Anago mountain area.

  Very kind host on arrival, friendly and welcoming, explaining what we can do locally, including some handy walking maps. The fruit left in the fruit bowl was delicious, especially the large avocado. Our host also brought out the cushions for the outdoor seating areas which were really enjoyed in the morning sun and eating breakfast in the garden.
