So I stumbled across Orlando Ocean Dream Apartment during one of those late-night booking sessions when you’re desperately trying to find something decent in Adeje that won’t break the bank. Honestly? Best accidental find I’ve made in ages. The name’s a bit misleading – I mean, you’re not exactly oceanfront here on Calle Antonio Navarro, but you’re tucked into this quiet residential street that locals actually use, which I always take as a good sign.

What really got me was how the place feels like someone’s actual home rather than another cookie-cutter rental. The apartment has this lived-in comfort that’s hard to fake – you know what I mean? Like, the kitchen actually has proper cooking tools (not just two bent spoons and a mystery appliance), and there’s decent water pressure in the shower, which honestly matters more than most people admit when they’re reviewing places. The neighbors are a mix of locals and long-term visitors, so it stays pretty chill even during peak season. I was there in July expecting the usual tourist chaos, but this little street stays surprisingly peaceful – you get the morning sounds of people heading to work, then it’s mostly just the occasional delivery truck.

The location thing is interesting because you’re sort of between worlds here. You’re close enough to the coast that you can walk to some decent beaches (about 15 minutes if you don’t mind a bit of a stroll), but you’re also up in the actual town where people live their regular lives. There’s this little café two blocks over where the owner remembers your coffee order after day three, and a proper grocery store within walking distance – not one of those tourist-trap mini markets that charge €8 for a bottle of water. The apartment itself punches above its 3-star rating, which I think has more to do with the building’s age than anything actually wrong with the place. Everything works, it’s clean, and whoever set it up actually thought about what travelers need. Plus, parking isn’t the nightmare it is closer to the beach areas – there’s usually street parking available, and the locals don’t seem to mind the occasional rental car mixing in. I’d definitely book it again, especially if you’re the type who wants to experience a bit of actual Spanish life rather than just bouncing between hotel pools and tourist restaurants.

  Friendly host, easy to keep in contact with her and she met us to provide the keys and walk through the apartment. She also extended our check out time at no extra cost as we were not flying home until late that evening.

  What could be improved: Air con in the living room/kitchen would have been great as it did get quite hot and stuffy. Also the motorway can get very loud early in the morning but we knew to expect that so it wasn't a problem and we took ear plugs.

  This apartment was booked due to issues with one we had whilst we were there. We booked this apartment at 22:00hours the night before, and the host got back to us straight away the next morning. The host was amazing and allowed us into the property very early in the morning (0900 hours) which helped us a lot. The host was great in explaining everything to us whilst she was present and it was so easy to do. Further to this, the host was great in her communication and she was able to help us out so much. The apartment is just like the photos, and it was lovely inside. Everything about the apartment was brilliant, and the bed was great. The one thing that we did like about this apartment was it having Aircon in the bedroom which was a massive help due to the weather. This place is located on the second floor, which is easy to get to and you have an amazing view of the sea from the baloney. We will be returning to this property for sure, as Orlando is a lovely area and they have great apartments.

  The apartment is 5 minutes walk to the beach front, so a great location. The place is quite quiet which was fine for us. The apartment has everything you could need and is very comfortable. We were met when we arrived to give us the keys and show us around which was great. We would definitely recommend this place and we'd stay here again.
