Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places in Playa de las Americas, and honestly? The Olympia Palmalicious Apartment surprised me in the best way possible. First off, don’t let the slightly cheesy name fool you – this place actually knows what it’s doing. When you’re walking down Calle Venezuela (which, by the way, is perfectly positioned between the chaos of the main strip and the quieter residential areas), you’ll spot it easily enough. The building has that clean, modern look that doesn’t scream “tourist trap” like some of the flashier places nearby.

What really got me was how they’ve managed to nail the apartment-style setup without feeling like you’re crashing in someone’s spare room. The space actually breathes, you know? I mean, after spending days bouncing between cramped hotel rooms in Tenerife, having a proper living area where you can spread out your stuff and not trip over your suitcase every five minutes – well, it’s sort of a game changer. The kitchen isn’t just for show either; I actually cooked breakfast a few times instead of paying resort prices for mediocre eggs. The balcony situation is solid too, though I’d recommend snagging a unit facing away from the street if you’re a light sleeper. Not that Calle Venezuela is crazy loud, but you’ll get the occasional late-night reveler stumbling back from the Veronicas Strip.

Here’s what I really appreciate – and this is coming from someone who’s done the Canary Islands thing more times than I care to count – they’ve got the practical stuff figured out. Parking isn’t a nightmare (trust me, this matters more than you think in Playa de las Americas), the Wi-Fi actually works when you need to upload those sunset photos, and the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a jet engine. You’re also about a ten-minute walk to Los Cristianos beach, which honestly beats the more touristy stretches if you want to feel like less of a walking wallet. The staff at check-in were refreshingly normal too – friendly without that over-the-top hospitality theater you get at some places. I think what really sealed it for me was realizing I could walk to that little Mercadona on Avenida de los Pueblos for groceries, hit the beach for a few hours, then come back and actually relax in a space that felt more like a temporary home than a hotel room. With a 9.3 rating, I expected it to be decent, but it’s one of those places where you understand why people keep coming back.

  The apartment had everything we needed for our weeks stay. The kitchen was well equipped and it was a bonus for it to come with coffee, fruit and wine!
  The location is excellent as it’s only a short walk away from the main strips, meaning that it’s quiet but everything is easily accessible.
  It’s very close to some of the best restaurants around, namely:
  1. El Tejado
  2. La Casita de Taby
  3. Green Chilli Tandori
  
  And a minutes walk from the bus station.
  
  What could be improved: Walls are very thin so you can hear the neighbours, but wasn’t an issue for us.
  Check-out time is very early, though the management company did allow us an extra hour which was much appreciated.

  Very safe,clean, beer and wine in fridge on arrival, fresh fruit and coffee and salt and pepper everything you need. Very nice balcony and bathroom and it was a double bed not 2 singles pushed together which was nice. Plenty of towels and utensils. Overall a very enjoyable stay Coudnt recommend enough.

  We were surprised with greating fresh fruits and drinks- beer, wine.
  Place is grate- near bus station, shops and cafe. Beach you can reach in 4 min.
  A big balcony was fantastic. We found everything what we needed.
  There are a lot friendly cats, swimming pool.

  Pobyt w tym apartamencie to była czysta przyjemność! Już od pierwszego kontaktu z wynajmującymi czuliśmy się zaopiekowani – bardzo mili i pomocni ludzie. Apartament zachwycił nas od progu – pięknie urządzony, z wyczuciem stylu i dbałością o każdy szczegół. Bardzo wygodny i w pełni wyposażony – idealne miejsce na romantyczny wyjazd we dwoje. Lokalizacja nie mogłaby być lepsza – dosłownie 2 minuty spacerem do plaży i urokliwego deptaka z knajpkami. Na miejscu basen z leżakami, brodzikiem i parasolami – idealny na leniwe poranki i popołudnia. To miejsce ma w sobie coś wyjątkowego. Z całego serca polecamy i sami z przyjemnością wrócimy!

  L’appartamento è un ampio monolocale completo di ogni necessità, si può cucinare, ha anche la lavatrice, il letto è comodissimo. Bellissimo anche il terrazzino, tutto super pulito e c’è il parcheggio interno, indispensabile se si vuole noleggiare l’auto. Gli host sono stati sempre disponibili e gentili per ogni informazione e richiesta. Ci tornerei sicuramente e lo consiglio più che volentieri, per noi è stato tutto perfetto!

  Apartament bardzo czysty i ładnie urządzony. Na miejscu pralka, mikrofala, ręczniki i kosmetyki. Na powitanie czekało wino i przekąski. Bardzo dobry kontakt z właścicielami- doradzili, podpowiedzieli itp. Lokalizacja super- wszedzie blisko, ale nie słychać hałasów z ulicy czy deptaka. Polecam!
