You know what caught me off guard about Olga Paraiso del Sur? The elevator ride up to the 6th floor where it sits – honestly, I was expecting just another cookie-cutter hotel, but stepping out into their lobby, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually cares about this place. It’s perched right on Avenida Adeje 300, which if you’ve spent any time in Playa Paraiso, you’ll know puts you in this sweet spot where you’re close enough to hear the ocean but far enough back that you’re not dealing with the constant beachfront chaos.

The thing about this area – and I mean this in the best way – is that it feels like the Tenerife that locals actually enjoy, not just the tourist version. From the hotel, you can walk down to the coastline in maybe five minutes, but you’re also positioned where you can easily slip into those little family-run restaurants that don’t have English menus but serve the kind of food that makes you understand why people move to the Canary Islands permanently. The staff here gets that balance too – they’ll point you toward the obvious attractions if that’s what you want, but ask them about where to grab morning coffee and they’ll send you to this tiny place around the corner that opens at 7 AM and makes cortados that’ll ruin you for Starbucks forever.

What really sells me on this place, though, is how it handles the details that matter when you’re actually living somewhere for a week. The rooms are properly quiet – no thin walls where you’re listening to your neighbors’ entire vacation soundtrack. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, none of that artificial enthusiasm that makes you feel like you’re being managed. And parking – God, parking in this part of Spain can be a nightmare, but they’ve got it sorted without making you feel like you’re paying resort fees for basic human needs. The 9.2 rating isn’t inflated tourist hype either; it’s that thing where a place just consistently does what it promises without drama. You’ll sleep well, the shower pressure is actually decent, and when you wake up and look out at the Atlantic stretching toward Morocco, you’ll remember why you wanted to come to this island in the first place. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Playa Paraiso – it’s just confidently being a really good hotel in a spot that makes everything else easier.

  Stayed 12.02.25- 14.02.25 The apartment is everything that you need. I have no bad words to say. Maybe just the swimming pool is not heated and hard to park as the apartment does not have designated parking place. Owners also are very nice and helpful. I would definately come back.

  The location was in the centre of the actual resort, so bars, supermarket , cafes, restaurants all within walking distance.good bus links .on 6 th floor and although there are lifts it was good to be able to use the stairs if ever needed.very clean and great communication with the owners. Large bedroom plenty of towels and bedding. Internal noise very low which was a huge bonus for us .large pool area . Well equipped kitchen full size cooker with oven and fridge freezer,small but functional.good internet connection.
  
  What could be improved: Pool was not heated ( I was aware of this before booking)however very few in the resort are still able to cool down using the pool showers and children's pool. The direct view is pleasant although as it faces the main street,car park and hard rock hotel there is some external noise during the day, it may just have been me as I have very sensitive hearing

  Great apartment for small family. Satisfying kitchen facilities. Good for most cooking situations. Fridge and freezer. Microwave. Bathroom great. Washing machine too.

  Far enough away from the biggest tourist area that it's calmer on the streets, but still enough restaurants and stuff to serve a holiday.
  
  Fantastic snorkeling beach in walking distance (el Pinque).
  
  Love that they provided shampoo, toothpaste, sunscreen etc, just wish we'd known that when we were packing.
  
  FYI the balcony is East facing. We liked it that way but YMMV.
  
  What could be improved: With the balcony doors open you can hear music from the Hard Rock Hotel all day and night.
  
  The kitchen's a bit tired but everything works and is clean and we ate out most of the time anyway.

  The Property is well located within 100mtr. To bars and Hiperdino Supermarkets . The property has everything you need ,kitchen with everything you need to cook .
  The apartment is old but everything it’s so clean and tidy you could even eat from the floor so clean was it🩷❤️‍🩹 Highly recommend . I didn’t meet the host just on Whats App and she was very friendly 💕🌞
  
  What could be improved: Only thing I was disappointed was its was not a walk inn shower . But it managed .
  Not recommended for disabled people or people have a problem with feed to clime into the 🛁 bath 🛁
