The name’s a bit quirky – I mean, “Nordic” in Puerto de la Cruz seems like an odd choice at first – but honestly, it makes perfect sense once you’re inside. There’s this clean, minimalist Scandinavian vibe that’s surprisingly refreshing after walking through the bustling streets of the old town.

Calle Dacil is one of those streets that locals know but tourists often miss, which is honestly part of its charm. You’re literally a three-minute walk from the main drag with all the restaurants and shops, but tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with the noise and crowds at night. I loved that I could grab coffee at that little place on the corner (the one with the red awning – you’ll know it when you see it) and be back with my feet up before it got cold. The apartment itself is spacious for European standards, and the bedroom actually has proper blackout curtains – something I’ve learned not to take for granted after too many early sunrise wake-ups in other places. The kitchen’s well-equipped too, though I’ll be honest, with Puerto de la Cruz’s food scene right outside your door, I barely used it except for morning coffee.

What really sold me on this place was the attention to detail and how quiet it gets at night. The building’s solid – none of that paper-thin wall situation you sometimes get with vacation rentals. Plus, the wifi actually works consistently (tested it on video calls), and there’s decent water pressure in the shower, which sounds boring but trust me, matters after a day of exploring. The check-in was smooth, and the host clearly knows the area well – they gave me recommendations that weren’t just the usual tourist traps. The 9.3 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed here; it’s not trying to be flashy or over-the-top, just genuinely comfortable and well-thought-out. If you’re looking for a place that feels like a proper home base for exploring Puerto de la Cruz rather than just somewhere to crash, this is it.

  Everything was just great, apartment is even more beautiful and bigger than it looks from the photos. It has everything you need to the very small detail. Location is perfect, close to a very nice beach. We also got a guide about restaurants, beaches and places that are worth to visit (with location and description). Communication without any problems. I was literally amazed. We travel quite a lot but this was so far our best accomodation and we will definitely come back. Could not recommend more! :)) Wish all the best to our hosts!

  Het appartement is heel sfeervol ingericht. Heel leuk, ruim en gezellig ingericht en prima locatie. Aan werkelijk alles is gedacht van een volledig goed voorziene keuken met zout, peper, olie, koffie en thee en alles wat je nodig hebt om te koken tot heerlijke zeep en shampoo in de douche. Heerlijke badkamer en fijn bed.

  Bardzo korzystna lokalizacja, mieszkanie pięknie urządzone, gospodarz dokładnie przemyślał każdy szczegół w mieszkaniu.

  Estaba muy bien decorado y muy cómodo. La ubicación está relativamente alejada del centro de Puerto de la Cruz, cosa que vimos positiva al tratarse de una zona más tranquila. También la comunicación con Jose fue muy correcta, así como valoramos muy positivamente las recomendaciones que deja respecto a planes en la isla.
