So, I stumbled upon New Apartment Sherezade while wandering around Puerto de la Cruz last spring, and honestly? It’s one of those places that catches you off guard in the best way. The building sits right on Calle Doctor Celestino González Padrón – which sounds super fancy but it’s actually this quiet residential street that most tourists completely miss. You know what I mean? You’re literally a three-minute walk from all the madness of the main tourist strip, but when you step outside your door, it feels like you’re in a real neighborhood where actual people live.

The apartments themselves are way more spacious than you’d expect from the photos (and we all know hotel photos lie, right?). I mean, you’ve got proper kitchens with full-size fridges, not those tiny bar fridges that can barely hold a bottle of wine. The living areas actually feel lived-in rather than sterile – there’s this warm, slightly Mediterranean vibe with tile floors that stay cool even when it’s blazing outside. What really got me though was the attention to small details. Like, the shower pressure is legitimately good, which honestly made my week because I’d been bouncing around cheaper places where the water basically drizzled out. The beds are comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up feeling like I’d been wrestling with a brick, and the air conditioning actually works without sounding like a freight train.

Location-wise, you’re perfectly positioned to avoid the cruise ship crowds that descend on the waterfront every morning around 9 AM. Walk down toward Plaza del Charco and you’ll hit all the good tapas spots, but you can also duck into the local market on Calle Mequinez (just two blocks over) where the produce is ridiculously fresh and cheap. The staff here – well, they’re not hovering around like at big resort hotels, but when you need something, they’re genuinely helpful. Check-in was smooth, they gave me actual useful tips about avoiding tourist traps, and parking… okay, street parking can be a bit of a hunt during peak season, but there’s a public lot about five minutes away that won’t completely drain your wallet. The only minor thing I’d mention is that if you’re a super light sleeper, you might catch some street noise in the early morning when locals are heading to work, but honestly, it’s part of the charm of staying somewhere real rather than some isolated resort bubble. With that 8.6 rating, you know you’re getting solid value without the inflated prices of the beachfront hotels.

  We had a fantastic stay! The apartment is very spacious, modern, and has everything you need—including a fully equipped kitchen. The large terrace and swimming pool were perfect for relaxing. It’s a quiet place, yet very well located. Would definitely stay here again!

  What could be improved: The main bedroom has a window to the main corridor, next to the elevator. It can be noisy when you sleep and other people are walking outside or using the elevator.

  Sehr schöne, geräumige und gepflegte Wohnung in schöner, ruhiger Lage.
  Gut möbliert, bequeme Betten, schöne Küche, sehr große Terrasse direkt am sehr schön gestalteten und gepflegten Garten.
  Parkplatz in der hauseigenen Tiefgarage.

  What could be improved: Etwas mehr Geschirr/ Besteck in der Küche, deutsches Fernsehen und ein Sonnenschirm für die Terrasse wäre schön gewesen .

  Superbe séjour. L'appartement correspond exactement aux photos. Tout était impeccable. Les extérieurs sont magnifiques et très bien entretenu. L'emplacement est idéal pour se reposer et visiter cette île magnifique.

  Como trapos , mantelitos para mesa de cristal, boles , algún tazón más y vasos de agua.Un juego más toallas baño. Quitando esos detalles todo genial.

  Das Appartment ist sehr gut eingerichtet, Küche mit Herd und Backofen, es gibt sogar eine Waschmaschine. Die FeWo liegt im EG mit der Aussicht auf den Garten und beim schönen Wetter einen seitlichen Blick auf Teide 🙂 der Pool ist unbeheizt, im Winter ist das Wasser echt frisch, im Sommer ist es sicher nett. Es ist sehr ruhig, man hört weder die Straße noch die Nachbarn. Im Winter (wir waren 2 Wochen im Januar) kommt die Sonne von 14 bis 17 Uhr auf die Terrasse, es reicht zum braun werden und Wäsche trocknen. Supermarkt, botanischer Garten und Restaurants sind in 3-5 Minuten erreichbar. Es gibt eine Tiefgarage für den Mietwagen. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir waren mit dem Aufenthalt sehr zufrieden und können es nur empfehlen.

  Ubicación excepcional. Y, zona muy tranquila para pasar en familia. Un apartamento con terraza con salida desde salón, ideal para ir con pequeños, que puedan disfrutar sin peligros de terrazas en altura. Y, sobre todo el garaje con acceso directo a la vivienda, importante porque en la zona a veces es difícil aparcar, con lo que poder llegar con la compra, o maletas, y tener acceso al bloque es lo ideal.
  
  What could be improved: La piscina aún no estaba operativa, pero no fue de gran importancia para nosotros. Pero su piscina si que es un plus, cuando funcione.

  Przepiękny budynek. Cicha i spokojna okolica. Wspaniały basen. Cudowna , czysta woda o dobrej temperaturze. Dużo miejsca na basenie. Spokój, mało turystów. Ładny ogród wokół basenu. Widok na góry. Apartament ma wszystko czego potrzeba. Duży, wygodny prywatny taras z leżakami i stolem z krzeslami, mozna przyjemnie zjesc śniadanie na dworze. Czysto i piękne meble. Wszystko było nowe lub prawie nowe. Bardzo relaksująca okolica i miejsce.

  Het appartement is uitstekend gelegen, in een rustige buurt met een aantal fijne restaurants en een supermarkt op loopafstand. Vanaf het eigen terras van het appartement (zonnig vanaf de middag, ongeveer) is het 20m lopen naar het grote en goed onderhouden zwembad.
  
  What could be improved: De bedden zijn goed maar voor ons wat aan de harde kant. De keuken is praktisch ingericht, met oven, magnetron en afwasmachine, die je vaak nodig hebt als je zelf kookt, omdat er maar 4 vorken/messen/lepels koffiekopjes zijn. En één theedoek. De wasmachine staat buiten in een kast, en hebben we aan de praat gekregen ondanks het menu dat in het Oekraiens is (dank aan on-line vertaalapps).
