Hotel Description
I’ll be honest – when I first turned onto Calle el Jable looking for MYND Adeje, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The street itself is pretty quiet, tucked away from the main tourist drag, which actually turned out to be one of the hotel’s biggest advantages. You’re close enough to everything in Adeje that matters, but far enough from the chaos that you can actually hear yourself think.
The moment you walk into MYND, you get this immediate sense that someone actually thought about the design here. It’s not trying too hard to be flashy – more like understated cool, if that makes sense. The lobby has this warm, modern vibe with local touches that don’t feel forced. What really struck me was how the staff genuinely seemed to know their stuff about the area. When I asked about hiking trails (because honestly, that’s half the reason you come to this part of Tenerife), the front desk guy didn’t just hand me a generic brochure – he actually sketched out a route on a napkin and told me where to park at the trailhead.
The rooms are solid – clean lines, comfortable beds, and those little details that matter when you’re actually living somewhere for a few days. Good water pressure, plenty of outlets, and the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a jet engine, which you’d be surprised how often that’s an issue in Spanish hotels. From most rooms, you can catch glimpses of the ocean between the buildings, though I wouldn’t call it a “sea view” exactly. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays at night – even during peak season, you’re not dealing with drunk tourists stumbling around the hallways at 3 AM.
Location-wise, you’re about a ten-minute walk from the beach at Playa de Fañabé, which is decent for families but nothing spectacular. The real gems are a short drive away – Playa de Diego Hernández if you want something more secluded, or you can easily get to the ferry port for day trips to La Gomera. There’s a Mercadona about five minutes away on foot, which is clutch if you want to grab snacks or wine without paying hotel prices. The restaurant situation nearby is actually pretty good too – avoid the obvious tourist traps on the main strip and head to some of the smaller places where you’ll hear more Spanish than English.
I mean, look – this isn’t a resort where you’ll spend all day lounging by an infinity pool. MYND Adeje is more for people who want a really solid base for exploring this part of the island. The service feels personal without being overbearing, the place is spotless, and that 9-star rating honestly makes sense when you factor in the value. You’re getting 4-star comfort at a price that won’t make you wince every time you check your credit card statement. If you’re the type who wants to actually experience Tenerife rather than just Instagram it, this place gets it right.

Excellent location with restaurant, shops and beach 🏝️ nearby. This hotel takes sustainably to the next level. Water fountains to refill water bottles etc. Gluten-free breakfast options. Loved the 24h Gym and the Pool and Rooftop Pool & Bar.

Breakfast was very good. The same every day but plenty of choice. My friend is vegan and struggled a little bit. They had a GF section with separate toaster. No highchairs apparently which was odd.

Sun loungers on rooftop & by the pool – loved the vibes here! Amazing facial by Itheya – she is an expert & took such great care of me in the wellness area. Complimentary yoga/Pilates on different mornings – such a lovely way to start the day in the sun. Very good breakfast. Perfect hotel for a sun & relaxing stay! Many places in the hotel you can relax or do work in.
