It’s tucked away on Calle Venezuela – not exactly the main drag, which honestly works in your favor because you’re not dealing with tourist crowds every time you step outside. The building itself is one of those solid Spanish structures that feels properly lived-in, and yeah, you’re on the 4th floor so there’s some climbing involved, but the elevator works fine (I mean, it’s a bit slow, but it gets you there).

The apartment itself surprised me – it’s genuinely modern without being sterile, if that makes sense. Someone clearly put thought into the layout instead of just cramming furniture wherever it fit. The kitchen actually functions, which is rarer than you’d think in these vacation rentals. I spent a fair bit of time on the balcony with my morning coffee, and honestly, the view gives you a nice slice of local life without being right in the middle of everything. Costa Adeje spreads out below you, and you can catch glimpses of the ocean if you crane your neck a bit. The neighborhood has this lived-in feel – you’ll hear kids playing in the courtyard below, neighbors chatting on their balconies, that sort of thing. It’s real life, not a tourist bubble.

What really sold me on this place was the location, though I realize that sounds contradictory after saying it’s not on the main drag. Here’s the thing – you’re maybe a ten-minute walk from the beach areas, but you’re also close enough to actual Spanish life that you can pop into the local market or grab a proper coffee at the café where the locals actually go. The WiFi worked reliably (always a gamble with these places), and the air conditioning was a lifesaver during the afternoon heat. Look, it’s not perfect – the hot water takes a minute to get going, and if you’re expecting hotel-level service, you might be disappointed. But the owner was responsive when I had questions, and check-in was straightforward. The 8.5 rating makes total sense to me – it’s a solid, comfortable base that doesn’t try to be something it’s not. If you want to feel like you’re staying in a real neighborhood rather than a tourist complex, and you don’t mind a bit of walking to get to the beach action, this hits the sweet spot between authentic and comfortable.
