You know what struck me first about this place? It’s actually tucked away on Calle Noelia Afonso Cabrera, which honestly I’d never heard of before – but that turned out to be a good thing. You’re literally a three-minute walk from the main strip of Playa de las Americas, but you don’t get hammered with the constant bass from the clubs at 2 AM. I mean, you’ll still hear it if you’re really listening, but it’s not rattling your windows like some places right on the Veronicas strip.

The apartment itself is pretty much what you’d expect from a modern 3-star setup – clean lines, decent furniture that looks like it came from a European furniture catalog, and everything works properly (which, let’s be honest, isn’t always a given in Tenerife). The kitchen’s actually useful if you want to grab groceries from the Mercadona down the street instead of eating out every meal – and trust me, your wallet will thank you since restaurant prices in this area can get pretty crazy during peak season. The bathroom’s compact but well-designed, and there’s good water pressure, which I’ve learned not to take for granted after staying in some questionable places around the Canary Islands.

What I really appreciated was the balcony situation – you get some decent views without paying those premium oceanfront prices, and in the mornings it’s actually quiet enough to have your coffee out there. The building feels secure too, which matters when you’re coming back late from Los Cristianos or wherever. Parking was… well, it’s Playa de las Americas, so parking’s always going to be a bit of a nightmare, but the neighborhood streets aren’t as completely insane as the main tourist zones. The check-in was straightforward – none of that “meet us at a random café with a printout” nonsense you sometimes get with apartment rentals.

Location-wise, you’re really well positioned here. Five minutes to the beach (the less crowded end, not where all the sunbed wars happen), maybe ten minutes if you want to walk to the port area where the ferries leave for La Gomera. There’s a decent little supermarket practically around the corner, and you can actually walk to Siam Park if you don’t mind a bit of a hike – though honestly, just take a taxi, it’s worth the few euros when you’re carrying beach gear. The whole area’s got that lived-in feel rather than being completely touristy, which I found refreshing after spending time in some of the more artificial resort complexes.

Look, it’s not going to blow your mind – the 7.6 rating is pretty spot-on, actually. It’s solid, dependable, and priced fairly for what you get. If you’re looking for Instagram-worthy luxury, keep looking. But if you want a clean, comfortable base for exploring the island without the resort markup, and you appreciate being close to the action without being right in the middle of the chaos, this place delivers exactly what it promises.

  Clean apartament, good location. To las vistas beach is around 1km. Super dino shop was across the street. It is hard to find parking space to car.

  The apartment has wonderful locations it was close to see, shops, restaurants, bars etc. But the building is really old, it ruins the whole aesthetics. Also I would recommend to clean it more properly. The sink smelled really bad, there was dirt in corners, the towels also smelled and some of dishes were dirty.

  What could be improved: Apartment was OK. Host was very rude. Our flight was delayed and we were 15 minutes late due to poor directions from the host. The host was very grumpy and insisted that we paid a late check in fee. When we were leaving the apartment, we had to remind the host that we were checking out and required our deposit. We had to wait 30 minutes. Once again he was rude and unpleasant.
