You know what surprised me most about Mgrahamhouse? It’s tucked away on this quiet little street in Tacoronte where you’d never expect to find something this polished. I mean, Calle Fernández Ocampo isn’t exactly the main drag – it’s one of those residential streets where locals actually live, which honestly makes the whole experience feel more authentic than staying in some tourist bubble.

The thing about this place is that it gets the details right in ways that actually matter. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward (no upselling or lengthy presentations about amenities), and the staff clearly knows the area well enough to give you real recommendations, not just the standard “go see the cathedral” spiel. The rooms have that crisp, well-maintained feel without being sterile – you can tell they put thought into the furnishings rather than just ordering everything from a hotel supply catalog. What I appreciated most was how quiet it stays at night, even though you’re not isolated from everything interesting. There’s something about the way sound travels (or doesn’t) in these Canarian neighborhoods that makes for genuinely restful sleep.

Being in Tacoronte puts you in this sweet spot where you’re close enough to the coast to catch those ocean breezes, but you’re also right in wine country – and I mean proper wine country, not the tourist version. The local guachinches are within walking distance if you know where to look, and honestly, that’s where you’ll have some of the best meals of your trip. The hotel’s location lets you explore the real Tenerife without the cruise ship crowds you’ll find in the southern resorts. Plus, if you’re planning day trips (which you should), you’re perfectly positioned to reach both the Anaga mountains and the Teide area without spending half your day in traffic. Parking wasn’t an issue either, which – if you’ve ever tried to park in some of these older Spanish towns – you’ll know is no small thing. The 9.3 rating makes sense once you’re there; it’s not trying to be flashy or revolutionary, just consistently good at what it does.

  Rezervēta autostāvvieta pie mājas, jauka saimniece. Apartaments ar ērtu izvietojumu, guļamistabas otrajā stāvā, viena istaba ar privātām labierīcībām(duša, tolete), divām istabām kopējas labierīcības, plaša virtuve (kafija, tēja, cukurs, garšvielas, eļļa u.t.t.), veļas mazgājamā mašīna ar mazgājamiem līdzekļiem. Viss bija tīrs.

  Una casa grande con muchos detalles. Las camas están cómodas, hay espacio para todo y la urbanización está cerca de todo. También estaba muy limpio y bien cuidado. Para desayunar hay detalles en la cocina.
