You know what caught me off guard about MEDANO4YOU Casa Nancy? It’s tucked away in this quiet residential pocket of San Isidro that honestly feels more like staying at your Spanish friend’s family home than a typical hotel. The address – Antonio Machado 1 in Los Cardones – might not mean much if you’re not familiar with Tenerife, but it’s actually this sweet spot where you’re close enough to hear the ocean but far enough from the main tourist drag that you won’t be dodging selfie sticks on your morning coffee run.

Nancy (yeah, there’s an actual Nancy, and she’s lovely) has this way of making the place feel effortlessly welcoming without being overly fussy about it. The whole setup is what I’d call “thoughtfully relaxed” – you’ve got your modern amenities and everything works like it should, but there’s this lived-in comfort that you just can’t manufacture. I mean, the 9.1 rating makes sense when you’re dealing with someone who actually cares about the details that matter. The Wi-Fi is solid (trust me, I tested it extensively), the beds are properly comfortable, and – this might sound weird but it matters – the water pressure is excellent. You know how some places cut corners on the basics? Not here.

What really sets this place apart is Nancy’s local knowledge. She’ll casually mention that the best fish is down at the harbor on Tuesday mornings, or that if you’re hiking Teide, you should grab supplies from the little shop around the corner because it’s half the price of the tourist spots. Los Cardones itself is this charming neighborhood that feels authentically Canarian – you’ll see actual locals doing their daily shopping, kids playing in the streets, and those beautiful old ladies who always seem to be having animated conversations from their balconies. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the coast, and honestly, that little stroll becomes part of your daily rhythm. The area gets pretty quiet after dinner, which is perfect if you’re looking to actually relax rather than party until dawn. Parking isn’t a nightmare like it can be in some parts of the island, and Nancy’s pretty flexible about check-in times if you let her know in advance. The whole experience just feels… well, genuine. Like you’re getting a real taste of how people actually live here, not some sanitized version designed for tourists.

  Simply wonderful. From the easy way that check-in was made by Medano4you, up to the whole details: wine, beers and of course, the impeccable cleanliness of both the interior and exterior of the house. The house is in a quiet neighbourhood, was spacious, beautifully decorated, very neat and elegant. Perfect for a family or group of friends. The beds were really comfortable. The friendly guy who did the check-in told us that all the mattresses were new. It was really noticeable. The garden with barbecue and pool is also amazing area to stay. Surprisingly, we could enjoy a quiet night of barbecue with a bath in the pool in Mid-November.
  
  What could be improved: The worst thing was not being able to stay more nights 😉.

  The villa is extraordinary😱❤️, with private pool, barbecue, large terrace with tables and outdoor sofa. We were a couple but the house is very large for several people. Very quiet and safe local area👏 with indoor and outdoor parking, surrounded by a complex of independent villas🏠 and away from the crowded tourist areas.
  
  The connection to the motorway is phenomenal because you can move around the island very quickly. It is close to the airport and only a 15 minute drive to the larges tourist beaches on the South. It has 3 bedrooms with big and comfortable mattresses,💙 a huge kitchen with all possible appliances: fridge that makes ice, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer.
  
  Multi-language TV and Netfilx free of charge. Good customer service on key handover. We will definitely come back!❤️❤️

  Casa con mucha privacidad, una coqueta piscina, zona exterior con buena barbacoa y espacio para relajarse y comer. Tranquila, con todos los servicios y buenos accesos. Amplia, bien cuidada y muy acogedora.

  Hiša zelo prostorna in lepo urejena, čista, velika, z urejeno okolico. Zelo hitro si prišel do bližnjih trgovin in ostalih mest.
  
  What could be improved: Pozicija same hiše pa ni lih v redu, konstantno kar precej piha…vsak dan v času bivanja je močno pihalo. Bazena sploh nismo mogli uporabit ker je bilo premrzlo in voda glih tako mrzla.
  Zunaj na terasi smo zelo malo sedeli ker je bilo ogromno muh, ki so te kar živcirale.
  Upam da ni vedno tako, da je bilo slučajno…ker je to zelo zelo slabo uplivalo na naše mnenje.
