The apartment sits on the second floor of this typical Canarian building, and while you’ll need to haul your luggage up those stairs (no elevator here), the trade-off is worth it. The place has that lived-in comfort that actually makes you feel like you’re staying in someone’s well-loved home rather than a sterile hotel room.

What really gets me about this spot is how it captures that perfect El Médano vibe – you’re close enough to hear the ocean if you listen carefully, especially at night when the wind dies down, but far enough from the main beachfront chaos that you can actually get some sleep. The apartment itself is surprisingly spacious for the area, with everything you’d actually need for a proper stay. The kitchen’s properly equipped (I’m talking real cooking equipment, not those sad hotel hot plates), and there’s enough room to spread out your windsurf gear if that’s your thing – which, let’s be honest, is probably why you’re in El Médano anyway. The decor is refreshingly unpretentious, sort of modern-meets-coastal without trying too hard.

Here’s the thing about staying here – you’re positioned perfectly to experience El Médano like locals do. Walk five minutes in one direction and you’re at the main beach where all the windsurfers congregate (it gets properly busy during the wind season from April to September), but head the other way and you’ll find those quieter spots where families actually go to swim rather than perform aerial tricks. The neighborhood around Miguel el Pescador street has this genuine residential feel – you’ll hear Spanish conversations from balconies, smell someone’s lunch cooking, see laundry hanging out to dry. It’s real life, not a resort bubble. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle in the narrow streets, but there’s usually something within a block or two if you’re patient. The 9.5 rating honestly makes sense when you experience how thoughtfully everything’s been set up – from the reliable WiFi (crucial for checking wind forecasts) to the good water pressure in the shower (crucial after a day of getting sandblasted on the beach).   The best location near the south Tenerife airport. The view from the apartment is amazing. 10 m to the beach. The apartment is super clean and has everything needed for comfortable living, every small detail is taken into account. Near the apartment there are a lot of cafes and shops.

  Tha apartment was perfectly prepared, clean, the equipment for caffee, drinking, eating and simple cooking was sufficient. The other utilities like towels, bedding also.
  I really appriciate welcome refresment for us. And the sea view is unforgettable. El Medano is lively small town, but also there are quiet places on the beach.
