The apartments themselves are solid four-star territory, nothing flashy but honestly built with people who stay longer than a weekend in mind. The kitchens are properly equipped (I’m talking real knives and pans that aren’t scratched to hell), and the balconies – well, if you get one facing the right direction, you’re looking out over the golf course with these glimpses of the Atlantic beyond. The whole complex has this low-key residential vibe where you’ll hear Spanish conversations drifting from other balconies in the evening, which I actually love. It feels authentic rather than like you’re trapped in some tourist bubble. Parking’s straightforward too, which anyone who’s driven around southern Tenerife will appreciate – no circling blocks looking for a spot.

What really works here is the location once you understand the area. You’re about a ten-minute drive from the airport (super convenient for early flights), but more importantly, you’re positioned perfectly between the busier coastal areas and some of the island’s better hiking trails inland. The Amarilla Golf course is literally right there if that’s your thing, and the small commercial center nearby has a decent Spar for groceries plus a couple of local restaurants that aren’t trying to serve you paella with a side of flamenco show. I found myself walking to this little Canarian place called – well, I can’t remember the exact name, but it’s the one with the blue awning – where the locals actually eat, and the gambas al ajillo were honestly better than anything I had in the resort areas. The 8.4 rating makes sense when you consider it’s not trying to be everything to everyone; it’s just doing the apartment thing really well for people who want a base to explore from rather than a place to hide away in.
