You know what caught me off guard about Magic Garden and Ocean View? The name actually undersells it – I was expecting something kitschy, but honestly, this place gets both parts right in ways that surprised me. The property sits right on Calle Capirote in Palm-mar, and I mean *right* there where you can actually hear the waves when you’re having your morning coffee, not that distant ocean sound you get at places that claim “ocean views” but are really three blocks inland.

The garden part isn’t just some patch of palms either – there’s this whole terraced setup with local plants that I couldn’t name if my life depended on it, but they smell incredible in the evenings when the sea breeze kicks in. I spent way too much time just wandering around there, especially in those quiet hours before dinner when most people are getting ready and you sort of have the place to yourself. The rooms face different directions, so if you’re booking, actually ask about the view – some get the full ocean spread, others get more of the garden angle, and both are pretty great but in different ways. What I loved is that even the garden-facing rooms stay surprisingly cool because of how the building’s positioned, which… well, you’ll appreciate that in summer when Palm-mar can get properly hot.

The staff here clearly knows what they’re doing – check-in was smooth, none of that hovering-around-the-desk thing you get at some places. They’re locals mostly, which means they actually know the area instead of just reading from a script. One guy at reception told me about this little path that cuts down to the beach that’s not on any tourist map, and it became my go-to route for avoiding the crowds near the main beach access. Speaking of crowds, Palm-mar itself is still relatively quiet compared to the craziness up in Playa de las Américas, but it’s connected enough that you can easily get there if you want the full Tenerife nightlife experience. The 399 bus runs pretty regularly, though I’d grab the schedule because it’s not as frequent as you’d think. Parking at the hotel is straightforward too – not one of those places where you’re circling around looking for a spot or paying extra fees that suddenly appear on your bill. With a 9.9 rating, I was curious if it would live up to the hype, but honestly, those little details add up. The place just works the way a good hotel should, without making you think too hard about it.

  Clean, well organised. Everything u need for a short stay. Close to beach, bars n restaurants n nature walks. Bahia Beach bar is fabulous. Oxsana was friendly n helpful.

  It has everything you need and then some more.
  
  What could be improved: The rules of the swimming pool are too strict. No food and drinks etc is silly it’s an apartment holiday you should be able to eat beside the pool tho it’s so clean and there’s no mess anywhere because of these rules so I do get it. No floating toys for kids is a bit strange too. Who doesn’t love a lie down in the pool on a lilo!?

  Perfect location right in the centre to reach shops, bars, restaurants. Fully equipped kitchen, Smart TV, comfy bed. The property is in a lovely garden setting with sea views from the balcony. The hosts were fantastic and really went out their way to sort us taxis and restaurant bookings as we arrived on New Year’s Eve – we can’t thank them enough!

  Appartement très fonctionnel, agréable dans le quartier Palm-mar très sympa. Très bon accueil de Maxime, avec des petites attentions à l'arrivée très appréciables. Très bons restaurants , supermarchés, boulangerie accessibles à pied. Toutes les commodités sont réunies pour passer un bon séjour.

  Apartament jest bardzo wygodny i dobrze wyposażony. Znajduje się na zadbanym osiedlu z basenem. Obok supermarket, kilka restauracji oraz plaża. Idealne miejsce jak baza wypadowa do zwiedzania wyspy. Cicho i spokojnie. Przemiły i bardzo pomocny personel. Dziękujemy za gościnę!

Sie ist bereit immer zu helfen, gibt Tipps für einkaufen, schön essen, was besuchen und….
