Look, I’ve stayed in my fair share of vacation rentals in Tenerife, and this place on Calle Baleares honestly caught me off guard in the best way possible. You know how sometimes these “luxury villa” listings oversell themselves? Well, this one actually delivers. The heated pool – and I mean properly heated, not just lukewarm – sits right in the middle of this gorgeous terrace where you can see straight out to the ocean. I spent most mornings there with coffee, watching the mist roll off the mountains around Masca village in the distance.

The location is pretty brilliant, actually. You’re tucked away in this residential part of Adeje where it’s quiet enough to hear the waves at night, but you’re still only about ten minutes from the madness of Playa de las Américas if you want restaurants and nightlife. There’s decent parking right outside – trust me, that matters when you’re hauling groceries and beach gear up these hillside streets. The villa itself feels properly lived-in rather than sterile, with this massive kitchen that actually has everything you need (sharp knives, decent pans, all that stuff vacation rentals usually skimp on). I mean, the bedrooms are spacious and the bathrooms are modern, but honestly, you’ll spend most of your time in that outdoor space.

What really sold me was the attention to details you don’t expect. The outdoor shower next to the pool, the way the terrace catches both sunrise and sunset depending on where you sit, even the sound system that actually works properly. The owners clearly know this area – they left recommendations for this little family-run restaurant in Adeje Casco Histórico that I never would have found otherwise. The 9.2 rating makes sense because it’s not trying to be some flashy resort experience. It’s just a really well-thought-out place where you can properly relax. Fair warning though – if you’re here during peak season, the road up can get a bit busy with day-trippers heading to Masca, but that usually clears out by evening. Honestly, for a 4-star place, it punches well above its weight.

  This place was absolutely fabulous. Everything you need from a holiday. Lidia there if any problems. There were none i hasten to add.

  The villa has everything you need and the privacy that comes with a villa. No fight for sunbeds, peace and quiet, the luxury of a hotel but the warmth of a home from home
  
  What could be improved: The location is a little further out than we would have liked and the hills were hard to walk for some of our party. If you struggle with long walks this isn’t for the faint hearted. The car hire was an excellent addition as we were able to drive anywhere we wanted and found everywhere really easy to get to

  Fabulous property. Lidia was super helpful and dealt with any small issues straight away. Pool was great and Villa was lovely and spacious. Pool table came in really handy.
  
  What could be improved: Location could be an issue if less mobile as it is very hilly. Personally we enjoyed the peace and quiet of being a bit further out and were happy to take the 25 min walk to the bars and restaurants.

  The facilities were amazing. It was extremely clean and very spacious. The swimming pool had the option to be heated and the beach view was exceptional. Will definitely be visiting again!
