You know what struck me first about this place? The name’s actually spot-on – it really does feel like staying in someone’s incredibly well-appointed townhouse rather than a typical hotel. When I turned onto Calle Alcalde Pedro Acevedo Bisshopp (quite a mouthful, I know), I almost walked past it because it blends so seamlessly into the residential neighborhood of Puerto de Santiago. But then you catch that glimpse of the Atlantic stretching endlessly beyond the terrace, and suddenly you get why this little gem has a 9.5 rating.

The sea view isn’t just panoramic – it’s honestly breathtaking in that way that makes you stop mid-conversation and just stare. I mean, I’ve seen plenty of ocean views, but there’s something about the way the coastline curves here that feels almost private, like you’re getting a secret perspective on Tenerife’s dramatic western shore. The townhouse itself has this lovely lived-in elegance – think high-end finishes without the sterile hotel vibe. The rooms actually feel like rooms, not boxes, with those little touches that matter: proper lighting for reading, outlets where you need them, and – thank goodness – real blackout curtains because the morning sun here is no joke.

What really won me over, though, was how thoughtfully everything’s arranged. The kitchen area isn’t just for show (I actually cooked a few meals using ingredients from the little market down the hill), and the terrace setup is perfect for those long Spanish evenings when dinner doesn’t even start until 9 PM. Puerto de Santiago itself is still refreshingly low-key compared to the tourist madness further north – you can walk to Los Gigantes cliffs in about fifteen minutes, but you’re not dealing with the crowds and noise that come with staying right in the thick of things. The only minor thing I’d mention is that parking can be a bit tricky during peak season (those narrow streets weren’t designed for modern cars), but honestly, once you’re settled in, you won’t want to leave much anyway. The whole experience feels more like borrowing a friend’s perfect vacation home than staying in a hotel – which, at the end of the day, is exactly what makes a place memorable.

  Wonderful apartments for 4 people. I was specifically looking for apartments for 6 people with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. As a result, there are 2 bedrooms and one bedroom in the basement with a specific smell of the basement. There were 2 bathrooms on the upper floor and a toilet on the ground floor. On the ground floor there is a laundry room with a sofa. We were uncomfortable, there was no separate normal third bedroom. The basement did not suit us, we had to sleep in the living room. To the beach 1.5 km down and back up the slope. It suited us, we like to walk and exercise. The view from the window of one of the bedrooms on the top floor is amazing. Audibility: you can hear every word from the neighboring apartment. We were lucky and a couple with three children settled in at the end of our vacation, otherwise the whole vacation had to wake up at 7 am, at this time their children woke up, we like to sleep. Among the advantages: near Mercadona and Lidl nearby, 2 swimming pools (one for children), a wonderful view of the island of La Gomera, a garage for cars, a terrace.

  The property is very well equipped, clean and comfortable, the ocean view from the bedroom is breathtaking. The host was extremely friendly and helpful, all the small problems were solved with no delay. The location of the property is great with several supermarkets, Arena beach and Los Gigantes viewpoint within a walking distance.
